AUDAX 400 KILOMETERS, WHAT WAS I THINKING??

Күн бұрынMy GPX file was corrupted, my power meter died, my heart rate monitor stopped working. All these happened right before I set out to ride my farthest distance yet. It was going to be a test of endurance and patience, and I will admit I was very nervous. It was going to be my toughest test so far. Click the link, and come join this attempt at my first Audax 400.

Unbelievable John! That’s a long time to be on the saddle but right off the bat you were making me laugh about your comments “what am I thinking “😂 and then at 200 kilometer you said “ I’m going to call my mommy” then you go brush your teeth 😂 that’s the last thing that would comes to my mind. I’m cracking up but I can feel your pain. Kudos for you and everyone who participated…👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

She’s become a friend of mine, and she is such an inspirational accomplished endurance cyclist herself! She is the driving force behind Audax In the Philippines, and she is amazing. You can always hear her passion and excitement in her voice! 👍🏼🎊🍻

Yes! There was a whole bunch of folding bikes doing 300 and more! And I was with a guy that used to do it on his fat bike too! Amazing! 🤩

Haha! I got the idea from when I used to sail away for several days out at sea. I would be out for 3-5 days in the ocean getting salty, without bathing nor changing clothes. But the minute after you brush your teeth, you feel like a brand new man!🤩🤣
