Since I’d seen so many in my twenties during the early 1980s when I worked at an exclusive country club I viewed this watch as dated and quipped to a friend that they were. I couldn’t understand the ongoing level of demand though beautiful and brilliantly made as all APs are despite the 1970s design. I didn’t know that he had one in his repertoire and he allowed me to wear his for a few minutes. Something that I’d always remembered about this watch is that it absolutely glows on the wrist and it wears so luxuriously in feel. Aside from the detailed brushing on the incredible bracelet the brushing on the case, bezel and side and the fine intricacy of every single brush line including those that integrates at the case to the bracelet is an achievement beyond imagination. I pointed it out to my friend who’d not noticed it before himself. I don’t sell things personally. I collect fine furniture and Murano art glass, paintings my personal watches and now think that I might buy my brother one of these for his landmark birthday in a few years. Where I once thought that this piece was dated I now know that it’s as classic as a Bentley.

I really enjoy how in depth you go with your reviews but I hate how you rush it as if you are in a race and rattle through it. Take a deep breath and present slowly please. Sorry to be critical but it is very annoying, as I really like the depth and detail you go on your presentation of each watch.
