It works..... It needs to be installed carefully and you need to try a few times but it works.... One advice... Be careful when pulling the air hoses off because the plastic might break.... Take my word for it... :(

Hi, great video but how do I get the vacuum pump out of the car? I know it is behind the left wall in the trunk but i need cant reach it by just removing the upper portion of the wall, so I have had somr problem with that..

I could not remove the (non damaged) graphite impeller from a salvaged unit I had, it seemed firmly attached to the motor shaft. So I had to remove the whole motor by pushing the edges of the rubber mounts into the 4 holes from the other side, then gripping the black pipe with pliers and firmly pulling. I snipped the 2 wires and crimped on spade connectors, as no doubt in a few years I will need to do it again! Edit: You need to pull the sprocket on the the end of the motor shaft off with pliers, as pulling the impeller does not give enough grip. The old motor was covered in graphite dust, so maybe a good idea to change it anyway.
