Isofix seat hole trim: 8T0 887 233 B (make sure you get the right colour)
Isofix seat hole cover: 8T0 887 187 (make sure you get the right colour)

You Sir, are the best!! I ordered the parts already but I'm quite scared. I have the Audi A4 Avant from 2011 but with the leather seats. This video is a perfect 'how to' and gives me confidence to start. Thanks a lot man!

Great tutorial, thanks! I did it yesterday - worked perfectly. One improvement: I used a soldering iron to cut the seats fabric. That way it will be sealed right away and won´t become frayed in the future.

Great video! Did you had the isofix bracket from the factory or you've added it before the video?

Would it be possible for you to measure the location of top tether trims relative to some point on the back shelf? That way we'd know where to cut without removing all that trim. I guess it doesn't require 1mm precision? For example, measure the distance between the front edge of the shelf and the middle of the tether cover and from the center point of the shelf and the middle of the tether cover. I know it's a big favor to ask, so thank you for even considering it :)

Sorry, but not possible. I would not even trust myself to cut in a different car just by measuring.

@@UltimateDIY I'll try to drill a mini hole where I expect the hook to be and probe around to find it...then cut around the exact location :) It seems to be just behind the center of the headrest.

In theory, yes, that is the location. If you work carefuly and take your time you should be able to do it.

Hi there, regarding the top tether, can I just confirm that the hooks are already fitted in the frame but just covered up? My car came with the seat attachments installed but no top teather. I have tried prising the back card up and I think I can feel a teather point but just wondering if it's something else and I need to buy the teather point as well as the casing. Many thanks regardless, a very helpful video.

Hi. The metal hooks are there in all A4 B8 sedans. You need to buy the small plastic parts and cut the holes like I did in the video.

Salut! Am un audi a4 b8, fără isofix. Nu am văzut in video prinderea de șasiu. Tu ai avut din fabrica prinderea respectiva? Din ce am inteles de la service, e sudata la b8.

Trebuie sa faci tot ce am facut si eu in video, adica si sa dai bancheta jos si sa tai in ea. Din pacate nu te pot ajuta, pentru ca nu am destul timp nici pentru mine macar.

Masina e din 2010 (B8). Toate au isofix, dar nu au decupaje si evident capace din plastic. Dar toata partea metalica e deja prezenta pe caroserie la B8.

Buna ziua, Am comandat și eu capacele și urmează sa fac operațiunea, pt cele 4 capace isofix găsesc pătratul sub bancheta sau sa găureasc înainte unde simt clema fier ?

@@UltimateDIY ok i got to know in authorized audi dealership that there is something like velvet beige but all over the internet there are only two colours interchangeable K38 cardamom and newer 61S luxor so it shouldn't really matter. Also the guy in the dealership gave me different info about the top tethers not being there in first place - "additional part must be installed" but that is actually false - I also got the hooks in the same places as you do, so thanks for the trouble making this video. It is more helpful than authorized dealership. Thanks!

Orice magazin de piese auto iti poate aduce pe comanda dupa cod. Mie mi-a adus unnmagazin mic de cartier.

@@UltimateDIY Salut, am incercat astazi la un magazin de piese auto si radeau de mine pe sub mustati. Au spus ca codurile nu sunt corecte si bla bla. M-au rugat sa le duc seria unui vehicul cu aceste componente si doar asa pot sa le gaseasca codurile corecte. Acum caut pe OLX serii de masini.

@@Andrei-qr8px nu cauta nici o serie si nu te lua dupa ei. Sunt doar dobitoci. Nu au nevoie de nici o serie de masina. M-am lovit si eu de asa ceva de-a lungul timpului, pentru ca ei nu sunt in stare sa inteleaga ca cineva vrea sa isi modifice masina. Ei inteleg doar sa aduca ce le arata programul ca e pe masina da dupa serie. Ce sa mai zic ca si pe alea le gresesc de multe ori.
