Audi A4 B9 Resonator Delete

4 жыл бұрынAudi A4 B9 front resonator delete. Besides the res delete, the car is stock. The Audi A4 B9 exhaust system consists of the: engine - cat - front res - mid res/muffler - dual mufflers. I deleted the front res. This setup has no drone while cruising and you can really only hear the sound while accelerating from 2,500-3,000 RPM's (higher RPM ranges). I would recommend this setup to anyone who wants a more aggressive tone from their A4 without drone or without it being too loud.

what resonator did u install. Is it welded or bolted?

What size pipe did you replace it with

get an ecs downpipe, it deletes the front res like you have, but the downpipe also gives some crackles and makes it a little louder. the res delete alone makes it weird bc it’s quiet at some rpms and loud at others but the dp helped me smooth it out!

matthew oh ok thanks man! Haven’t looked into a down pipe! I’m still running the res delete and want it louder, gonna replace the OEM mufflers with something more aggressive ;)

Nick Dunn keep the oem mufflers get a downpipe itll sound so much better than a straight pipe

anyone have a good link with sound clips for the ecs downpipe? just picked up a 18 a4 and feel like the catbacks are too ricey and the front resonator delete only may not be enough.

Did you anything regarding the way the motor response? did your car don came with gpf? thank you ver much. Pd (I'm really considering to do the same thing)

No I did not do anything regarding motor response, my car also did not come with a GPF. Front res delete is the only mod the rest of the car is bone stock. Would highly recommend!

I don’t want drone but want a louder sound, resonator or muffler I have a a4 b9 so not sure how much different it is under the chassis

Yes! I’ve had both a resonator delete and a muffler delete for over 2 years! No issues at all :)

Looks like a MY2019 (exhaust tips are the giveaway) which would make that a B9. It's a weird transitional year. The B9.5s started in MY2020.
