Watched this video so many times when I was saving up for one of these. Bought mine last year, supersprint exhaust & downpipe, 325bhp, 690nm torque - worth every penny!

The reason diesel's sound the way they do is because of the log headers ... this is more free flowing with the exhaust manifold .

i can imagine putting this engine in an r35 gtr, same displacement (I think), still a v6, similar sound, just diesel. that'd be a cool build imo

This is an 3.0 and the R35 has an 3.7, and yes, both v6

@@lukasstiftner1167 422PS und 860Nm, was schon für ein auf Drehmoment ausgelegtes Mapping spricht, also maximale Zahlen, egal wie sich das Fahrzeug fährt - "beste/r" ist immer ansichtssache, aber ist jemand sicher nicht, wenn man die höchsten Zahlen rausbekommt, was hier der Fall scheint - durch Bekanntheit kann das Unternehmen nämlich nicht gerade glänzen. Und ich spreche in allen Punkten aus eigener Erfahrung. ✌🏼

For a sound exactly like this, yes. But you can achieve similar results by removing the DPF only or (if it's illegal in your country, like in mine), remove the back exhaust silencers. It wouldn't be so loud like in the video, but it'll sound a lot better than factory.

the first one is probably the best sounding audi a5 3.0 tdi that has been straight piped in the world. Most of the videos have it sound like the john deere tractor I have at work.

Stock exhaust system wont create these sounds, full straight pipe. Wider the downpipe and exhaust throughout the louder. These will be 3” inch downpipe to full straight pipe setups, no dpf or silencers

And now..... time to wake up..... All you see are modified Audis, the first one was stage 7. You compare apples with oranges. Ofc Audi are the oranges....😉 Beside that, audi is only good in 2 things: Sound and drive straight on. No performance on a racetrack, be proud of the sound, when something else is missing.
