BMW E38 have the same issues with clogged sunroof and windshield drains. Corrodes wiring junctions under floor and the issues just come...glad you figured it out👍

Thanx for the vid mate,good heads up about the breakers and the box. And what a stupid place to put vital components of the car.The ECU for the gearbox is in the floorpan on the other side too ! There is a problem with water getting in through the scuttle as well.You have to take battery and plate underneath it out, to unblock the drain ,otherwise .....water in the car. I have thought about sealing the boxes with silicon

Also if you have water on the driver side would be a really good idea to check the passenger side floor. That is were your tcm is located. Much more expensive to replace.

Thanks John for posting this. I have a UK 2003 A6 C5 Avant. The CCM on mine is on the same side of the car as yours but as my car is right hand drive I'll need to remove the glove box unit to get at the trim to get access to the carpet, to get at the CCM! That said, I need to clear the drain under the battery compartment. I was wondering if you knew whether the drain was metal or plastic? Trying to work out how best to clear the drain ie. with a length of metal coat hanger or a pressure washer to force clear it?

The problem is probably in the receiver that I understand now is the CCM! Besides, I had indeed the "bottom battery hole" obstructed adn often some water spilled inside the van...I'll let you kinow what I find. But I want to ask you, did you reprogram somehow your CCm to receive the cryptede signal of your key fob?

Hey John I know it's been 6 years but do you recall if your windows and lights started working as soon as you plugged in the new ccm or did you have to program it.

I have a problem with the Tire Pressure Control system TPCM. From time to time the indication "malfunction tire pressure ..." is appearing on screen and at the same time ,the pressure indications on the screen are getting disappeared (all 4 wheels) replaced by three dots "...".After some time, maybe 50 miles driving or so , they are coming back again, and system is O.K. I am afraid that something is happening in electrical connections (loose connection) of the central control unit to screen.Seems like the system is loosing power. Does anybody knows where are the fuses or relays of this system ? Any photo or diagram? What else can I do ? (AUDI S6 model 2004). Thank you

Where is the AC drain? I have water flooding back seat floorboard passenger side?.....and have cleared the battery drain and sunroof frail on both front sides....but still have WATER flooding only back side passenger......but no elec. problems YET,

If you remove the driver seat, there are power and ground wires that are spiced together. I can guarantee those are you major issue. They run along the center track.

Did you replaced 16 and 17 breakers ??

I took my 2007 Audi A4 to a mechanic before I left town and when I got back in town my doors will not lock I have to unlock the driver side door with my key and the little light that's inside the lock doesn't even turn on and they don't know what happened let them tell it

Was that the problem why the windows, lights , and door locks didn't work ??

06 audi a4 all power windows and sunroof don't work. everything else works do yoou think its the CCM or a breaker. fuses are all good.

To the doors of the care are connected bij an tube.. With a electric wire thru it... Open that up, get a soldering iron.. Start conecting the wires... You're welcome..
