Just run a new ground wire to the ECU and problem fix , but leave the one on it

Wow remove the carpet under the driver seat and look for water , if water is there then your ECU is full of it , get it dry out

@@nestorautorepair its a short somewhere i took the back seat out last night made sure everything was plugged in and also under the passenger seat i attempted to take the relays and stuff out but to much work for the time j had however the part that sits under the windshield washer fluid tank but on top of the relay box had some corrosion when i took that off and i blew the relays out but it was not until i pulled the backseat and checked under the passenger seat that it went away

Yes sir so your altenator fuse or relay is bad so the altenator is not charging the batter if not then you have a defected altenator I seem it I had that happened, ,, with the engine running unplug the batter and see if the car stay running and let me know

@@nestorautorepair I love my Audi but these electrical issues are starting to become a nuisance. How does water get into a car? Is it from a bad seal from the windshield or are the sunroof tube clogged from dust causing rain water to enter? I definitely need to come to you guys ASAP!

@@nestorautorepair thanks I had plan on using the crc spray. Yesterday I sprayed some cleaner through the injectors they have good spray pattern and not leaking. I did notice before I ran the clean through that all injector filter basket were broken.

When you say no power , you mean nothing work or just the power door lock ? If there is no power did you connect the battery the wrong way make sure red + and black - there is a main fuse next to the battery I believe is hold down with a screw driver bolt

Nestor Auto Repair it’s a 2009 the horn has no power the key fob isn’t recognized. I just finished replacing the motor someone said that it might be the ignition control module but I can’t find any information I think I might need a new ecu

Yes that's same problem,,there is also another one under the driver floor seat check if you are getting water in there maybe your sun roof drain is clogged

I have a 2006 audi a4 2.0t fsi it's got electrical codes I think some are stored I'm not sure but I have a misfire because of something electrical I checked everything electrical but nothing changes

Well it can be many think but make sure you check this place and see if any water in there and also there is the ECU by the driver feet under the carpet if there is a leak in the car all the water will go to this one inside the car

I will look into it. What does that ecu control. If it seem damaged will cleaning work or will I have to replace it?

If the ECU is wet there is a 50/50 change to just dry it and it will be good

Nestor Auto Repair also forgot o mention that the. Alarm was going off for no reason . I had to disconnect it. I also have to disconnect the battery Bcz it gets drained. The last I checked the ecu under the hood was fine. I will look in the footwell and check the bcm. Can the bcm cause the car to activate the epc and esp light making the car enter limp mode

Hi, have you check both computer the one by the wipers blade and the one under your feet , check if any water is there , also try this unplug the brake switch is at the brake pedal and see if that fix it , it can be a bad brake switch .
