Another nice demo, Auzzam 👏🏻 I specced the driver assistance pack, primarily for the adaptive cruise (which was on my “must have” list). I find that, when it’s active, it also adjusts the car speed for bends, junctions (moreso when a destination is set in the sat nav) and roundabouts. On dual carriageways the adaptive cruise also avoids undertaking, whilst showing a car in the right hand lane in the VC display. I have also noticed that, even when cruise control is off, then when taking my foot off the accelerator with a car in front of me down a hill that the A3 seems to match its speed. And when lifting off on approach to a junction the A3 slows to an appropriate speed for it (if you do so in sufficient time). Like you, I have noticed a few times the A3 auto-setting the wrong speed limit. At least once it read the speed limit sign on the back of a lorry! Also when choosing to ignore a turning that the sat nav wants you to take, the cruise control starts slowing for the junction that you aren’t intending to turn at, requiring a bit of accelerator peddle to override. So I agree that you need to keep your wits about you a little, especially when getting used to it. But on the whole it is an excellent system that takes some of the effort out of driving longer distances and I use it on all but the shortest journeys.

GREAT VIDEO. I have had my A4 Allroad for 6 months and after seeing your video finally understand the driver assist package. One thing that I would like to point out is that when on the speed sign control the car sometimes reads the exit lane speed sign like from 70MPH to 40 MPH for the exit and there is quite an abrupt application of breaks.

Having ordered the Vorsprung I spec everything except the ceramics. I have watched a lot of videos on the RS3 and none of them went into the detail on this channel. Really helpful and cannot wait to take delivery next week after an 11 month wait. Great Job.

Audi's marketing department should give you a call. Their "selling" of these systems is akin to talking about a new door handle, instead of explaining in detail bold, new safety features.

i like this video, i got my Skoda superb march 2020 with no hand over. Skoda don't have any of this info and the hand book is rubbish, it shows all models and even my wife who is a lawyer finds it of little use. lucky for me all the gadgets are Audi made.

Love my E1. The Driver Assistance Pack is simply incredible. Big annoyance for me is the Lane departure guidance. Don’t like it at all and it doesn’t let you turn it off permanently. It resets on each journey.

Adaptive cruise is really handy when eating a sandwich on the move.

You should try attaching a sausage to the steering wheel, to see if it thinks you are still holding it 🤣 (Credits to my dealer who told me this worked on the flat steering wheel, hence why they improved the sensor's and now only the round one is available with this pack) About the traffic stop 10sec thing, i sure hope this can be modified with VCDS or OBD11 (i will be buying an OBD11 once it's working so i can keep you updated on that if you want)

I am about to order a new build post face life Audi S3 2024 8Y 333 bhp vorsprung sportsback, but wanted to ask a few questions, hoping you know having tested one 1) as well as changing speed when camera sees signs does it also slow for corners and roundabouts. 2) when you stop and take foot off break does car creep forward 3) does vorsprung have 360 parking camera 4) does advance key on this car have swipe foot to open boot Hope you can help?

Great video! But I am confused. I have an Audi Q2 and it has ACC, Radar, Camera etc. But there is no speed sign feature even in the menu. I believe that it is capable of it. Also I can not see any buyable feature on myAudi app. What am I missing? Maybe a system update? Thanks

Your comment about flat steering wheels being unable to use the Driver Assistance Package is incorrect: I find most 2018+ cars (I'm looking for an RS5) have the flat bottom with the DA Package, at least in the U.S.

I’ve been getting error messages this past week in the dash telling me the traffic sign recognition thing isn’t working, and also the main screen keeps giving me the “no data connection could be established” msg. Any idea what that’s about??

Hello, i have the A3 8y sline with the driver assistance pack and the signal recognition, but the driving assist never changes the speed limit when it scans a new speed signal, its allways manual, eventhough its full active and driving itself. Why could it be?

Great video, thank you. I started trying adaptive drive assist and it is great. I do notice some flaws which I find it annoying and can be dangerous. When I set my crusing speed to say 100 km on the highway, and when my camera detected a speed sign that say 40 kim (for an off ramp speed), my speed drops immediately and I notice a sudden pull back, even though I'm not exiting the ramp and was just going straight. If there was a car close behind me, they can be a very hazardous situation as the car behind me wouldn't know why I suddenly brakes. Not sure anyone encountered this, so I am tempted to turn off traffic sign recognition, now sure whether that will help.

@CRD Hi, I have a question about lane assist. Today I drove Q3 SP with driver assist package but no cameras. The car did steer on it's own when both lines were green but very often got past line and only then corrected it, which was to late for real use. I did not see any green triangles at any time on virtual cockpit as you have. What I am asking is do you think that those triangles come with the cameras and will the car then be able to hold itself better on the lane as the car only equipped with driver assist package and no cameras? Hi , I’m just about to order a brand new A3 but the edition 1 and I have asked for lane assistance in the sense I said can I have the package that includes the blind spot detection and the dealer has come back and said they don’t do a kind spot detection system on the new A3 ! Clearly I saw it on your last A3 and I can now see it on your vorsprung so does he just not know what he is talking about, ???? Thanks man I’m grateful for your help ,
