Just got the Mercedes EQC and I was a little scared to begin with, but for me the charging has been a non issue as I don’t do loads of miles and can charge for free at work. Not as fast as this but still 400hp and over taking is a joy! Production wise it looked and sounded good!

I really liked the EQC when I drove it. We are all just going to have to get around the anxiety of charging fear, as we are going to have no choice. I think the electric cars slot in to a lot of peoples lives like a glove. Which does fill me with hope! Glad you enjoyed the film! 👍🏻

@@Motorflix Yes we don’t have much choice I suppose, not sure how it will work for people with no driveways or who live in flats that can’t charge at home. But I guess we’ll find out. On a different note, i think the other comment about interior quality may have been down to exposure, drone shots and chase/follow shots were quite contrasty and punchy which made interior shots look a little washed out, but definitely not bad. You’ll never please everyone with videos as everyone has a different taste/eye. I found it entertaining anyway! The re-gen on the EQC in highest setting is savage, you barely need to use brakes!

The flat thing is a really interesting point!! I just am waiting to see if the grid can take it! 😳 I agree with you, the interior shot is lit but potentially not lit enough. Thank you for your helpful comments though. Constructive is super helpful to making better films each time! 👍🏻

Did a film on the EQC a while back, it made me feel horribly ill in the re gen modes!

@@Motorflix yeah you kind of get used to backing off power rather than lifting off completely, you can control it quite nicely.

Production looked great! Talking points were a bit disjointed (didn't flow well), but I agree, right now the infrastructure just isn't there for the average person to actually consider going electric as their daily driver

If you actually owned an electric car you would get a home charging point installed, it would be fully charged every morning, just saying :-)

@@Motorflix not sure but I think they start at about 500 quid, this may include government subsidies.

Ours was 750 odd but you get a 350 grant towards it, all depends where you want it and where your consumer unit is.

Did you watch it in 4K, it may not have processed yet? Shot on the best cine cameras money can buy, so not sure how 🤷🏻♂️

I have just checked it and watched on my 50 inch LG TV and it looks perfect to me, crisp 4K with perfect colours. 👍🏻

My dad’s friend has a Nissan Leaf which is 10 years old and a full charge only gets him 30 miles range! The car is worth nothing in the used market because the cost of a new battery is not worth doing!

I have heard horror stories about the degrading of batteries, god knows what it will be like in 10 years! Loads of unusable unsaleable cars laying about!
