Never going to be easy to come into a job when there's well liked predecessors to follow. Let's be honest, people don't like change. Fresh presenters will bring a fresh take to the channel - some will like it and some won't!

To be honest its still better than the low quality content auto Alex is putting out, its the laziest videos ive ever seen. How people can watch an advert with adverts in the middle of the adverts is madness. Show these new guys some respect. Nobody likes change but new viewers will come along 💪

While not the same as when Ethan and Jack were the presenters, I think that this will find its own style and it will be okay. Can't have too many car channels.

Great review, I have an rs4 saloon in sprint blue. I worked for Audi for quite some time and always had a soft spot for the b7. So I bought one. It really is a special car.

I came here for the car, not to waffle on about CT and a new presenter ( who btw is great ). I have an RS4 B7 myself and clicked on the video to watch the review and to see if a BMW fanboy could be swayed and by the looks of it, he was. Carry on chaps, bring more content like this and it just compliments the other channels.

A4 and bigger Audis never had a Haldex AWD. They've always had the "real" thing, even today. If the engine is placed longitudinally in an Audi, you won't be getting Haldex but rather Torsen/Crowngear etc. The default power split has been 50/50 and then switched to 40/60 F/R.

?? Camber and combustion take over? That's actually pretty damn cool! Having a proper drivers hosting the channel and finally seeing them with some kind of budget, that would be nice!

FFS, this is their FOURTH video, and people are STILL moaning on about it 'not being the same', 'I'm done with this channel', 'the owners have ruined it, I'm unsubscribing!!' Well how many bloody videos do you need to keep watching before you just jog on somewhere else and stop moaning? Either accept it for what it is and keep watching, or just go - the channel still has over 3 million subscribers..... trust me...... they won't miss you!

There's literally no one left

I like the videos, and Alex is a good host. But I think it's a shame they didn't do a proper introduction; they just turned up and started presenting, like going to work and finding someone else is the boss, and no one said anything. Maybe they were worried about addressing it directly, but it couldn't have gone any worse with the fans anyway. I hope you are getting paid properly. That's the only thing that saddens me about seeing new people on here, knowing someone took the poorly paid job (We all saw the job advertised along with the pay, £23k for a full-time job, in central London, basically running the channel, presenting, writing, filming, editing)

Car Throttle put a post up on Facebook the same day they released the first video on YT with new presenters. It said - "With reports circulating that The Grand Tour might reboot with new presenters, we think it'll be better left consigned to the history books" Like seriously you couldn't make it up! The fact that the irony is totally lost on them doesn't surprise me! I've got nothing against the new format and presenters, it's just the ignorance to change everything overnight and act like everything is fine. You should have done proper introductions and explanations as to the direction of the channel and been open about it.

Old Alex Kersten fan here. Very happy he's going strong with his old CT friends over to their channels. I'll always watch them but I'm okay if CT is going for a new direction. I'm giving them a chance for now.

This was decent, should do more of these. People will always hate, chin up & eventually the folks who moan will get embarrassed for still subbing to a channel they seem to hate so much. I've watched Car Throttle/read it since the Adnan days & people come & go. You lads don't seem too bad so I'll stay subbed.

I’m a BMW fanboy, but I do love the B7 RS4. That engine is incredible and the optional buckets really lift the interior. A family member had a grey saloon RS4 that I got to drive; it definitely left an impression. That noise shouldn’t have come from a mall, grey saloon car.

Loved my B7 RS4 avant, perfect car in every way. Only downside was the crippling maintenance costs. No independent Audi specialists near me would touch it, so it had to go through Audi.

As much as a CT fan for a long time, at first it is abit weird that the whole CT is changing but let's give a new presenter (Alex and Matt) a shot to represent CT, their car reviews so far quite nice and entertaining to watch as much as before

Are ‘most’ Audi’s Haldex?? I mean possibly since the introduction of the A3, but Audi isn’t ‘known’ for their Haldex awd system, they’re known for the Quattro system which has always used 50/50 split or rear biased… otherwise, good video again again guys!!

It’s always been torsen system, haldex was only introduced in the 8l s3 and mk4 golf r32. At least have a Google first…

I agree it’s the only one I’d have. Apart from an R8 v8. Just get an M3 way better in every way. And if you upgrade your 1 series to an m135i or M140i it would whoop that Rs4 most of the time ;)

How are people still so indignant about the fact the original guys left after _three whole weeks_ all the while espousing to be fans who apparently took this long to notice they're gone!? Don't get me wrong, i'm a massive fan of the former guys and therefore sympathise with the reasons they gave for leaving, but to keep this level of outrage up for so long seems so insincere and vindictive. Give the fact you potentially have another car channel to watch a chance, or be quiet and don't let the door hit you as leave. It's that simple.

I think the majority of people would have appreciated a goodbye video from the gang which should have ideally lead into an introduction of the new hosts, CT never did this and it's showing big time stat wise and with the whinging going on. overall the new hosts are pretty good, keep it up!
