the rs5 is my favorite out of the trio. Might not have 500hp but it looks and sounds phenomenal and certainly hits 300 without an issue. Great car, proves power isn't everything

@@v12-s65 I can't talk about 400-500 range but my car has now 290hp 620-30nm torque and I definitely feel it over 200hp stock. 250nm surplus on this RS5 makes a world difference! All these morons are afraid to touch their car when it's made to be moded

I have an RS5 coupe with the Dynamic Plus pack, which gives you the adjustable suspension, ceramic brakes and the limiter is increased from 155 mph to 178mph (287KPH) . I'm quite sure with no limiter, it would give more!

No, unfortunately it can't. The car is electronically limited at about 296 km/h speedometer and reduces the power. Could do over 300km/h without the limiter.

Klingen tut er wie eine Mischung aus elektrischem Rasierapparat und einem rasselnden Blech-Spielzeug-Traktor aus den 1950ern. Dazu diese sprotzelnden Fehlzündungen, die nach wie vor (bei egal welchem Fahrzeug) nur peinlich sind, richtiges V8-Blubbern: Fehlanzeige, nicht für Geld und gute Worte, auch nicht per Lautsprecher generiert. Der Innenraum ist nicht konservativ, sondern einfach nur "VW Passat" Jahrgang 2010, das muss man zugeben und da beißt die Maus auch keinen Faden ab. Dazu ein Mini 2.8-Liter-6-Zylinder, wo man früher im Vor-Vor-S4 (ohne "R") schon einen V8 mit 4.2-Liter-Maschine bekam; da hat sogar der Diesel mehr Hubraum und mehr Drehmoment und rückt 0-100 dem RS5 zeitentechnisch mit 0,5 Sekunden Unterschied doch gefährlich auf die Pelle. Von vorne ist das Auto mittlerweile so hässlich geworden, dass es im Video überhaupt nicht von vorne gezeigt wird, das Video beginnt direkt mit Rückwärtsausparken; besser is, denn die einzig vorzeigbare Seite an dem Wagen ist tatsächlich die Heckpartie. Wer ehrlich zu sich selbst ist, stellt unterm Strich fest, dass man nicht 4-5 Jahre warten sollte, bis dieser Eimer "erschwinglich" ist, sondern man greift am besten zu einem der Vorgängermodelle, hat einen ordentlichen Motor und noch eine ansprechende Optik. Und wenn man Glück hat, umgeht man damit sogar den Furzbacken-Sound ausm Auspuff, denn damit will man im Straßenverkehr wirklich nicht auffallen. Es sei denn, man heißt Ronny und ist Straßenbahnfahrer.

Der untere Bereich sprich untere Türtafeln und Einstiegsleisten könnten echt ausm Passat sein aber dafür hat der Rest am Fahrzeug bombenquali und sehr schöne Sitze. Dazu das B&O system was wahrscheinlich unter h/k und burmester das bessere ist

Gemessen daran, dass sich die Motorleistung auf dem Papier nicht verändert hat, performt das Fahrzeug seht gut in unter 13s aus dem Stand auf Tempo 200. Das kann sich sehen lassen. Beim Sound bin ich dabei, klingt definitiv besser als der Vorgänger.

Ich verstehs nicht. RS6, RSQ8, S8, E63S, C63, M5, X5M klingen wie Staubsauger. RS5 Competition und GLC43 (V6 BiTurbo) klingen wahnsinnig gut, trotz OPF. Wenn mans nicht wüsste könnte man meinen Audi hat gar keinen OPF drin. Als BMW Fanboy fetten Daumen nach oben für Audi

4:10 Pirelli hatte mal einen guten Werbespruch: "Power is nothing without control." Ich denke, der RS5 ist vergleichsweise immer noch ziemlich schnell unterwegs, allerdings könnte es sein, dass demnächst ein serienmäßiger RS3 in überarbeiteter Form nicht mehr sehr weit von den 450 PS weg sein wird, wenn man den Gerüchten Glauben schenken darf. Vielleicht ist das ja bald ein neuer Konkurrent aus dem eigenen Stall.

Some owners seem to be reporting a bump in power on these competition models, even though it is not reported in Audi's marketing. Early dyno figures suggest the comps are making about 440hp at the wheel, rather than the crank. Sort of like BMW reports horsepower on many of their M cars. Wonder how true it is, because I much prefer the styling of the RS5 versus the competitive Merc and BMW models.

richtig, das Getriebe wurde überarbeitet - schnellere Schaltzeiten zu Lasten des Komforts. Aber was man nicht vergessen darf: Die neuen Aluräder haben weniger Masse - rotierende Masse zählt doppelt ;) und die extra Tieferlegung macht auch noch ein wenig aus. Das alles in Summe kann schon über 0,5s ausmachen in der Zeit

It's an updated version, it sounds a lot better. You should also try some exhaust mods for your RS5. This engine is much more than that.

I’ve found the RS5 configurator extremely restrictive…so many options, colours, trims, interiors cannot be combined or you are forced to upgrade into the crazy expensive all-in-one packages or special edition packages. That’s why I’m going M4 Comp xDrive - that’s almost a second quicker in the 1/4 mile and 0-60 with a nicer interior imo

Der Sound ist aufjedenfall besser geworden, aber trotzdem kann der nicht mit der konkurrenz C63s, M4, M3 etc. mithalten. Audi hätte wenigstens 500 PS draus machen können naja… 0-100 geht auch nur so gut wegen Quattro ansonsten ist er der Konkurrenz in allen belangen unterlegen.

C63 war mal. Die 2 Liter Büchse klingt nach nichts mehr. Und kaum ist der Akku leer, ist das Ding auch nicht mehr schnell

I own a RS5 Sportback 2021 and it's more towards high 9 sec. 100-200. I do think Competion Plus is actually way more than 450 hp...

RS5 Comp gets lightweight forged/milled wheels, adjustable coilover suspension (ohlins co-designed,) upgraded front and rear sway bars, matte carbon exterior package, and some other unique interior stuff. RS5 Comp PLUS is the same, but with Carbon Ceramic brakes, and in some countries an option for carbon bucket seats.
