Been following along your S5 build as I would so love to do this to mine however with a 4 year warranty on the car its a big risk to start modifying so in the mean time I have been living vicariously through your builds and enjoying the content the upgraded turbo looks to have made a hell of a difference.

@@Vaguh On KZfaq adding any content to your channel helps but yes for me any stuff that your doing to the s5 is of interest for the reasons above I may eventually upgrade mine but perhaps not until warranty ends, lol if i can hold off that long.

What are the sizes of the fuel injectors and what boost level are you running at with the new turbo? When you install the new High flow fuel pump could you run the E85 tune at high boost or will the fuel injectors be the next limitation? I know when I ran E85 on my supra my 1000cc injectors were the limitation and could only get about 800whp out of it before running out of duty cycle. But with C-16 fuel and the same setup I could slightly hit over 1000whp.

Did you notice much difference going from the APR intercooler to IE? I was trying to get an IE intercooler but didn’t want to wait till may, so I ended up with a Wagner.

They’re both great intercooler options, in theory the IE version takes advantage of the entire cooling surface with some cool cast fins that help distribute airflow. I don’t have any direct evidence of any improvement, though.

It's nice! Does it require only the stage 2 hardware with a bigger turbo? No need to forge the engine right? Also, are you planning to get GT3582R sometimes in the future? Trying to see what's the diff between 710 and 3582.

All the stage 2 hardware plus the turbo. No internals at this time, although a high pressure fuel pump will likely be required for higher power tune files. I’m planning to upgrade to the new TTE810.

How much louder did the car get after the IE downpipe? Any CEL after or did the tune remove it?

I had a RedStar downpipe on before that sounded a little more raspy. The IE downpipe sounds a bit mor smooth. Both sound great and are quite a bit louder over stock, especially at WOT. No CEL with the proper tuning.

i’m looking into a 2018 S5 and i’m wondering, what type of supporting mods should i do if i want to tune the car? i don’t plan on doing anything crazy, something stage 1 but i do plan on dailying the car so i’d like it to be reliable or as reliable as it can be.

If keeping it stage 1 id say the intercooler is the first thing you should upgrade maybe a cold air intake but other than that the oem parts are very reliable. I’m running the tte710 with the only other mod being a downpipe (stock charge pipes) and the car is doing completely fine

Your system is a 250bar fuel delivery, and boost working pressure is 2.5 (absolute)..with that said have a question 1. How much IE increase the fuel pressure (duty cycle)(you can see this if you do the log) 2. How much boost pressure (absolute pressure minus atmospheric pressure = "actual or relative pressure" ) 3. Do you use the stock exhaust? (I saw that ypu already replace the cat). I have A5 too and im consider the move but i wolud like to have a raw data now that you are jumping into this.

Much of that is still being tweaked, and with the stock fueling, it’s still fairly conservative. I just ordered the ORT and APR HPFP so, we’ll see what happens when we get those on the car.

You are on 93 correct? With a HPFP do you plan on going e85? Why Ort over APR? Isn’t ORT only 20% increase in fuel pressure and the recommended for stage 3 is 37%.

I’ll be getting both. It’s mostly about availability. Also, we have 92, so I’m on a 91 ish tune. And yes, e85 for sure.

@@surfercardude9127 it is on my car, but I’ll be going back to the stock turbo and running the stage 2 tests again, I jumped to stage 3 before some of the updates came out. Really noticeable in the higher rev range.

@@surfercardude9127 lol, hopefully it won’t be 10 hours next time. I’m just trying to keep the comparisons consistent. There’s a lot of variables in what’s being posted about tunes and times. Most of us won’t see the same results as the super low 0-60 and drag times. I want to see what my car will do differently on all tunes and hardware. Likely won’t be on the leaderboard, but might help people make Some decisions about their mod path.

That’s a good question. It’s the same ZF8 that is on the MOPAR stuff. So, should be at least 1k hp.

We’re partnering with IE for stage 3 testing and to see how fast we can go at the track this spring/ summer. They aren’t an official sponsor. I’ll be putting the stock turbo back on and testing all the stage 2 tunes as well. And likely the stage 3 tunes with EPL and 034 coming up. I’ll likely hold on the my 034 intake for testing purposes. The goal of our channel is to try out and install as much as we can to provide some value to fellow modders. Thanks for the support.

In a recent 034 video it seemed they really didn't recommend it on this platform. They said they had seem some issues in the past, but not on the B9. Who knows at this point. I do notice ticking in this vid. Just seems louder than what I'm used to hearing on my B9. Instantly noticed it. I'm just paranoid about the rocker arm deal. The TTE810 is out now too so that is interesting. Good video and good luck.

@@Vaguh Jeremy, I'm installing a Burger Motorsports WMI Kit right now. We only have 90 octane here. I use a JB4 currently, but considering switching to a chip tune to free up the OBDII port. There are too many devices that need it (including the new Audi MMI update). I understand that the BMS WMI will now run without the OBDII connected. May even add the JB4 on top of the chip tune. Will keep you updated. Thanks for your content!

@@gloudon1 be really careful if you install the jb4 over an ECU tune at least 1 engine has blown up that way, and the tuners would advise against it.
