All this testing is very educational, but I haven't seen where you hook up the cables going I to the RTA.

Ok, I was on the fence about dumping my old audio control 3050 since it still works perfectly and getting one of these, but…I guess I have to after seeing this. I could handle the Bluetooth lag, but thanks fir making it Mac compatible.

I love my DM RTA Pro Kit and the only downside is you need two computers to tune your dsp. I think they should integrate a screen into the next gen.

Not necessarily! Many users have had great success with running DM-RTA in one window while running DM-SmartDSP in another window, or even running them both at the same time in split screen mode. This works well on many late model PC and MAC laptops/desktops, but of course not ALL computers will be capable/compatible.

I recently purchased the DM-RTA pro kit but i am having issues connecting to to my ipad via Bluetooth for the RTA functio n. It does show up in the Bluetooth devices found on my ipad Bluetooth settings but when i open the app it's not there. I have tried in both ways but connecting it to the ipad and then opening the app or forgetting it in the setring and opening the app directly to search for it. I have tried on both android and ipad... big problem...m frustrated.

Need help. Just purchased the dm-rta pro kit and it won’t turn on. It does charging and inside the device I can see a blue light is always on. That blue light it doesn’t go off even if I press the power button. I tried to connect the device with my windows laptop and the usb/communications led is blinking but is not connected because I can’t turn on the device

Can you guys make a video about how a polarity pop works? I know how to use the tools. I am curious to know what those tools are doing and what they are measuring.

it's literally just testing polarity. nothing more and nothing less. it's like a 9 to 12 volt pop just to see how the speaker is wired and set up. what else do you think its doing???

What's the purpose of the cars manufacturer putting certain speakers out of phase? I'm going to be putting in a new Amp dsp etc. Budget wise I'm using the factory speakers for now. If I encounter this should I leave the speakers out of phase?

Most of the time, they do it to achieve some sort of imaging effect. For example, by running tweeters out of phase, the system will sound more "open" and "airy", as well as make it harder for your ears to localize where the sound is coming from. As for whether you leave them wired that way or not, you don't really have to choose, since most all DSPs will allow you to flip their polarity/phase within the DSP software. So you can try it both ways and decide which you prefer, without having to change anything physically.
