In the early 1930's my mom was working at a cafe in Belton, Texas. Bib Stelle came in for some orange juice. All the other waitresses were afraid to wait on him..too Star-Struck. My mom served Mr. Stelle and had a pleasant chat with him. He was like Clint Eastwood, sociable and humble. My cousin, who was a black belt in karate was at a karate tournament when he met Clint Eastwood. The other celebrities there were too aloof to mix with the common folk. Except, Clint spoke to my cousin like an everyday grassroots person.

this guy can box and wrestle.... he is in pretty good shape too. I think he did many of his own stunts.

At 8:36, Fuzz says, "Folks, he's the first man to shoot a hole in a doughnut at 60 yards!"How could anyone tell IF he shot a hole in a doughnut since it already has a hole init!? HA! Then at 8:27 Pat's accent suddenly turns Scottish. Sounds like a lot of ad libbing going on in this movie. It's a great movie though.

At 4:25 Bob says, I can't see them Fuzz. Let's get outa here before their aim gets good!" If those guys can't aim any better than that..they don't have any business shooting at all!
