This wasn't about drugs, weapons, the citizen being a threat or anything of the sorts. This was about the cops losing face and their predisposition that he MUST have something incriminating on him was wrong, so they showed him that THEY are judge, jury and eecutioner on the streets. People are ALLOWED to freak out when confronted with armed gangmembers and domestic terrorists. It's perfectly legitimate!

Let’s just say, for arguments sake(because I don’t believe he was fighting them) that he did try to get rid of, grab, hide… whatever, drugs. Did it really take two of them beating him to get control? No way. Wtf is wrong with cops. So afraid someone might have a small amount of drugs for personal use that they beat the hell out of an innocent man.

Since nothing can be seen & only audio, it's highly doubtful that the police didn't go through all that difficulty for somebody that wasn't 'making' it difficult. From the beginning, the officer was going as far as pleading with this man to simply stop fighting them off & relax. You are wrong about the search . On a traffic stop, ras is sufficient for a search and detention . There is also case law that gives officers a "safety concern " excuse to do a personal search for weapons .
