how did i tie mines like a tie

I can't do the professional way, idk what I did wrong, if the folding isn't tight enough bc my scarf isn't long enough, and when I tie it the way u do, it looks bunched up and small. It looks so easy, but im having a hard time with my neck scarf, it puffs up too when I fold it and try pressing down to keep it folded but if I let go any, it rounds out like it was rolled, the fabric is hard to work with I tried the casual way since the direction is easier with the fingers, I don't like the way mine looks tho, it's not as cute and the knot looks so big and overtakes the lil tails, I tried making tails bigger adjusting the size, but it isn't naturally whimsical, it's bending weird. I'm struggling to make this look cute
