Thanks 🙂. I wish it was that simple I would still be old school hands on I'm afraid but I have a few ideas that hopefully will get me producing items again as unfortunately youtube doesn't pay the bills 🤣

Simple straightforward setup is always good for new tools , interested to see how you get on with different materials and if a laser is better than a cnc for my needs as I’m thinking of getting one or the other this year. Thanks for the videos- was going to comment something along the lines of old dog new tricks but this old dog is hoping to learn a few too😂

Thanks for the video I purchased one four months ago with a different laser module. I built an enclosure with extraction but my day job became to busy in the lead up to Christmas so haven't switched it on yet. Looking forward to see your projects in the future with it. Keep the videos coming great stuff all ways enjoyable. Steve Australia

Nice video. I have the same laser and am mighty impressed. I built an enclosure with extraction for it as it was a must. I only engrave on it, it’s not powerful enough to cut anything more than 3mm or 4mm without stinking the place out. Maybe be better with the long focus laser module, I have the short focus. Also air assist would be better for cutting. All in all. A great piece of kit. Look forward to seeing what you do with it.

I will probably make an enclosure for it at some stage I will only use it for engraving as cnc can do any cutting required but yes the long focus with air assist would be perfect if cutting with a laser. It is very capable for a reasonable price I wasn't expecting to he as impressed as I am

Great video and well presented as usual, I'm going to check this laser out its a pity you didn't have the different modules to compare the differences and also the enclosure to give your opinion
