Augusta is the capital of the U.S. state of Maine and the county seat of Kennebec County.
The city's population was 18,899 at the 2020 census, making it the tenth-most populous city in Maine, and third-least populous state capital in the United States after Montpelier, Vermont, and Pierre, South Dakota.
Located on the Kennebec River at the head of tide, it is the principal city in the Augusta-Waterville Micropolitan Statistical Area and home to the University of Maine at Augusta.

I own a small business on Water St in downtown Augusta. I watched this to see if I could find myself or my car in the video. No luck except I did see my friends truck. Thanks for visiting!

Drove over by a lot of familiar sites. I have spent several times in Augusta during the summers and once in the winter. Theres a lake 25 minutes nearby that I go to every year. Loved the Portland Video also, I recommend using the casco bay ferry because it is very scenic and the visits to the islands are quite interesting.

You missed out on the Stone Masons beautiful stone church, St.Agustiens¿(spelling) Catholic church on Northern Ave. It's really a shame because it's the prettiest building in Augusta Maine.
