Hmm, thanks for the review. I've always wondered about the addition of an external clock. And when, if ever, it will make a difference. Real difference that's worth the price of course..

The s17 Class A amp works really well with the resolving s9c pro and my Hifiman’s and is a good tempering influence.

why is there no stock of Aune s9c pro in UK apart from the faulty one on ebay and the one that comes with the headphones from I think it was Eden Audio..Very weird

Is this a better option than a chord qutest dac given they are similarly priced, SQ is my top priority or any other options around 1k pounds. I just need a dac, so no need for preamplifier or headphone amp integration.
