A seldom heard and very rare beautiful track here. From a limited release early 1970's album of 'B' sides and unreleased tracks called 'The Artistry Of Glen Campbell'. Much gratitude to my dear GC friend Will Duff who shared this album with me some years back. Special thanks to my dear friend Tina who is also is a massive fan of Glen's also who suggested I share it with the world. Photos of the album are sourced from the internet but the good resolution photos are mostly snapshots I took from my album covers those albums of which were so generously given to me by my great friend and mutual Glen Campbell aficionado... Mr Ged Fitzgerald.. This song is one of my favourites and a YT debut. This was a fabulous choice Tina and its a privelage to be able to share here for the wider Glen Campbell community.
From Wikipedia:
''The Artistry of Glen Campbell is a double album from 1972 which was originally sold through the Glen Campbell Fan Club. The songs are made up of B-sides, previously unreleased material and new recordings of mainly public domain songs. The B-sides are taken from the following singles: "Dreams of the Everyday Housewife"/"Kelli Hoe Down" (1968), "True Grit"/"Hava Nagila" (1969), *"By the Time I Get to Phoenix-I Say a Little Prayer" (duet with Anne Murray)/"All through the Night" (1971) and "Manhattan Kansas"/"Wayfaring Stranger" (1972). The second album contains instrumental songs only.''
