I remember experiencing something strange when I was a kid. Late fall. I didn't know what aurora borialis was. I was out in the park at night and looked straight up to see what appeared to be light beams coming down around me, almost like a stransparent curtain encircling me. It didn't look anything like this. And I don't recall ever hearing anyone describe it like my experience. I figured it was that, but close to the ground. Anyone else experience it that way?
