God... This almost made me cry. She looks so desperate to justify the murder, to make others understand, and at the same times seems to be telling us the entire truth even though it is hurtful. When the song ended she looked as if she was landing from another world. I had never seen an artist performing with so much emotion and this is why I love Aurora so much and really hope she gets more recognition with time.

I also feel like this references to the world's situation currently. We have so many innocent lives dying from different sides trying to win over and different beliefs trying to 'justify' these horrible acts... I cry every time I listen to her. She's beautiful. ♡

She made me cry. She's amazing, she's...other-worldly with that angel voice and the shows to all those ''angry screams'' around the music world, that you can be incredibly INTENSE and shocking without using violence in your tunes, lyrics and vocals...Sorry for my terrible english, I wish I could explain better...But she is already a complete answer :)

I love hearing her so much more love. For Runaway, the music video doesn’t stand out too much for me even though I do like it. But live, it seems as if it was the only way for it to be performed. Her sudden intake of breaths and her frantic movements. It really makes the song for me.

You know, I don't understand it that way. I think it's a love song because the girl in the story singing the song loves the guy so much that she truly believes he did it for her sake. There are very few circumstances where killing someone is protecting them in my opinion. It doesn't seem to be the case in the song. The guy is completely messed up. Maybe he does love the girl and thinks he's protecting her, but he's dangerous. Yet, the girl loves him and understands that in his understanding he isn't hurting her, even though she's very scared of the gun and probably doesn't want to die. She sounds completely disturbed.

I've listned to music all my life. All kinds of music, all kind af artists. I have many bands and musicians that are very precious to me. But nothing has ever given me the feelings that i get when I listen to this little diamond. I've tried to understand what it exactly is that makes me feel this way. I've not found an answer, but I know that it's something that lays very deep inside and I know that I am surrending to something pure and honest. A special thank to Aurora's mum, who convinced her to share her talent with the world.

Years ago I dated a girl who was a clown. She did birthday parties and whatever. She loved what she did. One day I asked her what type of clowns she was, and she spun around, looked at the sky and said "I'm a storyteller." Well one day I was in the library and they were having a book fair or something and I went into this little room and there was a lady in there telling stories to a bunch of kids. She was wearing like a Mother Hubbard costume or something and telling stories to these kids and the kids were kind of squirmy, not really paying attention. And even I noticed that I wasn't able to follow her, I wasn't really connecting with her, she wasn't connecting. So I went back and talked to my girlfriend about that later and she said "oh, she didn't invite you in". Now, I'd never heard that expression before but I knew that she didn't mean she didn't invite me into the room, she meant she didn't invite me into the story. Aurora not only invites you in, she's taken the door off the hinges and torn down the Walls! Sorry for such a long post but I think it's a good story. sorry if I didn't invite you in at the beginning. LOL

That was the first time she performed in front of so many people, she was quite nervous. I think that is why this performance of this song stands above the rest, because she dove deeply into her minds eye while singing this and the emotions flowed. I love how people are so still and silent when she sings and are even hesitant to disturb the peace with applause. She really does transfix people, just one of the many things that makes her her.

This song was used during the end titles in a documentary about the murder of a13 year old girl , Yara Gambirasio, here in Italy. How they found the murderer was quite allot of work using the DNA found on the crime scene that didn't directly lead to the killer as they had no one in the data bank with that profile. It was actually linked to a dead man whose son was a perfect match. He showed no remorse or feelings for what he did.

I have listened to this live performance a hundred times, between myself and the too many times I have watched people react to this, and I still cry every time I watch it, Aurora is the only one that can do that, her music become my favorite music since the first time I listened to it, I've always loved music, but I never cared about the people that's behind it, until I discovered Aurora, she is so humble and just a lovely and kind human being, she was the first artist that made me love not only the music, but also the one that's behind it, and that in a certain way makes you love the music even more, it's a shame there is people calling "artists" people like Bad Bunny, and worse, calling them like the best of all time, when people that Aurora exist, that not only is a real artist, in the full expression of the word, but also, she a good person, not egocentric or anything like that, but the opposite, I feel bad for the people that only listens to reggaeton and they haven't experienced the real beauty of music, and the people that makes it like Aurora doesn't get the recognition, she is my ever favorite and she will be for the rest of my life, there is no one like her, she is unique.

I usually just listen to the studio versions of the songs. Because sometimes live versions don't turn out so good. But her live songs are on a whole different level. I really love that you can listen to 3 different live version of the same song from Aurora, and it'll be always a bit different, yet the essence of the song is the same, and all of them is great.

I mean, she's singing a song about murdering someone at the Nobel Peace Prize, but it's not only about murdering someone, it's about how someone can be able to find peace in death. The song talks about someone who's in pain while alive and wanna find peace in diyng. Euthanasia...

Such a great performance from Aurora and O Martin. IMO this is the best way to listen to Aurora.. Live + O marting + 1 single guitar. I know her band is much different now, she does more dancing, she's got a female backup singer, and she has a much different presentation of sound. It's fine the KEXP performance was good and fun to listen to. But for me the simplicity the purity of this sound being stripped down and vulnerable is just heaven. I can't think of a better way for Aurora to sound.
