I’m an old classic rock guy…when I first heard Aurora…I was in awe…couldn’t believe the emotions her voice made me feel…so glad I was open to listening…

This metalhead values good music, no matter what genre it is.... And her voice is a genre of her own.

Very, honest, appreciative and respectful reaction. The entire Nidarosdomen concert is an artistic masterpiece of the highest possible quality. Other gems from the concert are "Lucky", "Winterbird" and Aurora's cover of "Walking In The Air" (from the animated movie "The Snowman" from 1982). Soon you should take a look at a different Aurora, smiling and dancing with "Daydreamer" or "The River" from the magical HAIK concert of 2019 (filmed in the forest where Aurora played in her childhood, so she is basically in her natural element).

her soul as her music is ageless it speaks through us, its like she shreds away our bodies and for a moment we are all connected like the lights of an aurora .

Lovely reaction guys! Might I suggest “It Happened Quiet” performed live at the Current for your next reaction? There are so many of her songs from this concert that are just wonderful - and I suggest you eventually listen to the whole concert - but she performs some of these songs in different venues that are worth listening to as well because she always adds something a little different. She might perform acapella, with her band, with an orchestra or just her playing the piano while singing. Also some of her music videos are amazing like “The Seed” or “Queendom”. She also does some killer covers like David Bowie’s “Life on Mars”.

It is difficult to "understand" Aurora... you understand you have to listen with your heart and soul, as you have done, it is not difficult anymore... If you don't get the "true" meaning of the song the first time, no problem... just feel it... there is no right or wrong... what you feel, is what you feel.... if that was the meaning; it does not matter.... Aurora has said that she loves when people find their own gems in her songs, that eaven she did not know was there..... Then you can read about what she was inspired by later... This concert from Nidarosdomen is magical... Murder Song and Runaway I feel is "better" at the Nobel Peace price concert, but the rest? First class.... absolutely first class...

I’d recommend “The Seed” music video and “Queendom” music video. “Warrior “ from the Haik documentary (my favorite rendition)! Also “all soft inside” Live on KEXP iceland!

Best word I found in English to explain her voice is Angelic "Belonging to, or proceeding from, angels; resembling, characteristic of, or partaking of the nature of, an angel; heavenly; divine." A good B side track to listen to with this is from another band called "Silversun Pickups" Song is called "Growing Old is getting Old" It's very much same nature of this song only from the perspective of an older person. Also Another good one with same vibe is "When you grow up your heart dies" But an artist called "Gunship"

Hello, and thank you so much for returning to Aurora and taking my request to react to a song from this masterpiece of a concert. Your words and thoughts at the end nailed it ! I have the feeling that when Aurora opens her mouth, that no matter what comes out of it, the sound of her voice alone makes your heart melt... she could probably sing the content of a whole phone book and I would never get bored of listening to it. Next one from Aurora should be "Lucky" from that same concert in Nidarosdomen. She wrote this song at the age of 9 years, and the lyrics are so deep and meaningful (like always)... it's considered her "anti-suicide-song" and is one of her most beautiful songs ever... especially THIS performance. "It happened quiet" at Nidarosdomen is my favorite version but i think more people prefer that song at The Current. U can't go wrong anyway.

Pure is the exact correct word. She sings from soul, and it is so pure it touches your soul. She is a gift to us all to help bring us all into soul❤

Simply the essence of what the art of music should be all about artists like Aurora do not come around that often she simply is medicine for your soul as a songwriter she is head and shoulders above anyone else never do you get the same old cliches and lyrics that you find in so much mainstream music,I’ve had the privilege of seeing her live 3 times and I can honestly say that no one has moved my emotions like her I would go as far as saying she is without doubt the best live performer I’ve ever seen,for me she’s a Genius ❤️

Totally agree with your comments and observations. She is very in the song and you can feel emotions from her. You just believe her and absorb the beautiful message of song. And yes this song fits to her but she has pretty much variation of songs and music styles. I would recommend: - Lucky from the same concert (she wrote it in a very young age and the message and lyrics of song is about deep emotions) - "All Is Soft inside" and "Churchyard" from KEXP 2018 for a different energy and arrangements - "I went too far" (or/and Under the Water) from Honda stage (these songs has some _little_ rock elements, especially Under the Water ) She even have some songs which we can call dance/disco ones (but with her stamp) or even with elements of Hip Hop. One song reming me even some elements from western movies and Morricone :). Generally great and expressive artist (at last for me). Also she has sometimes several version of the song, like album, acoustic or with different arrangements, strip down etc.
