I will say that I ADORE the Worthy Offerings Fell Bond. It was absolutely hilarious playing into another Chaos Knights player with that bond on my guys.

The Dread aura is probably my favorite mechanic in the entire game. If I ever play Chaos, it will definitely be the Chaos Knights.

Knights are cool.

Really like the rules of Vextrix but the lore of Lucaris. This is one army I would certainly paint of my own design and flip them around how I feel what house to use. It is probably my next army, if I ever make a third army.

11:45 The Crown of Jedathra is only a -1 in melee, which is still nice but not as useful as the Veil or a couple other relics. Herpetrax is definitely still a great house to run, since the Relic isn't the only good thing about it.

I really want to try vextrix and korvax but herpetrax is just so good I haven't brought myself to try it yet. The extra wound buffer is always good every game and the thought of taking mortals and having less wounds and losing veil of medengard makes me not want to try the infernal houses

I love house Lucaris, nice toolbox of tricks. I'm running desecrater, abominant, 2 karnivores, 2 brigands, as Lucaris and 3 dreadblade brigands for bold Tyrants fell bond. 1 of the Lucaris brigand has the relic daemon spear and Subjugator Machine Spirit for advance and shoot. They're super fun, my desecrater had strike first, Strike Often so he always fights first and has his relic gun at str 16 - 3 shots, and abominant has veil of mendenguard for better invul and cursed rune of fate to do mw when he makes 6s on his saves (very annoying) I can't get across how much I love this army, it's 9 models so its fast to play them, 9 models sets up very fast too, less models to transport, they are intimidating, and if your smart and magnetize them you can make any list you want, there's only 3 chasis so have fun swapping weapons and trying different datasheets/profiles.

I still can't stop substituting "herpatrax" with "herpaderp" in my head... 😅

Herpetrax is almost an auto take unless in some rare matchups where you think you can make better use of daemonic surge. Games Workshop has made a horrible job of making most of the other houses thematic or usable. Dreadblades also seem mostly pointless in a pure CK army due to them not gaining "TRAITORIS AMBITIONS" keyword, which makes them significantly weaker than a household keyword CK.

9:30 I am a Khomentis player... the way to do it is using the favor of the dark gods ability Warp-bourne Stalker which allows you to put it on a model and they get to start in deep strike... what I like to do because of the wording I have a unit of 2 Karnivores and this will allow me to split them up right off the bat one goes on the table and one goes to deep strike then I use the strat to bring the Karnivore down right on the enemy to tie them up in melee turn 1 so yes the whole unit isnt going to drop in but i only spend 1 cp to do it instead of 3... the synergy between the favor and khomentis specific strat is great along with my despoiler taking the warlord trait and hurting himself to get trans human and adding 1 to the wound roll of one weapon which is always the weapon i use the warlord trait on

I like Lucaris because the colors are cool.

Hey auspex I was wondering if u could help me,I bought 2 of the chaos Knight army boxes the day they were released,I've build all of them I only have half a Knight and half a wardog to Finnish building,I've primed and painted the metal structures of the models but I can never make up my mind of which house to go for and I'm stuck for paint schemes,as they cost me over 300 pound and I'm scared to paint incase I ruin or change my mind,I keep edging towards herpetrax purely because of the extra wounds,if u were gonna start an army of chaos knights what house would u go for ?and why?thanks in advance dude love from Wales x

I have Imp Knights and idk what it is I can't grasp their playstyle this edition. Chaos Knights seem like it would be the same for me.... idk why I play far more complicated factions (Sisters, New CSMs, etc) yet I turn into a potato when forming and playing a Knight list.

So like Ive been thinking of getting a chaos knight just to go with my chaos marines, speaking in list building/battlescribe terms how does one do that?

Been playing -Chaos- 'Renegade' Knights since the first release of the Renegade box set and the print-your-own-rules. Using imperial models, not being much of a kit-basher and not really liking the spikey stuff, they now play alongside my Thousands Sons. Both armies have their own Codex and model range now!

If one was trying to make a custom household based on house Devine, what abilities would fit most thematically?

House khymere is a time paradox but what if they didn't use revenge after the imperium attacked that would mean there world would have never attacked but that's causes a time paradox

Really enjoy House Korvax's lore. That said, while I like a knight being in Be'lakor's daemonic army, I hope we one day get the ability to do the opposite and run Be'lakor in a House Korvax list without sacrificing faction rules by needing other detachments. Maybe it's a big reach but I think being able to run Be'lakor as an honorary Lord of War in a House Korvax super heavy detachment would be very thematic and would help give the household much more identity.

House Khymere gameplay wise is meh but the lore is really fascinating

Sadly if you want to last more than 2 turns it's either herpetrax or vextrix...the rest is hot garbage...

Not knowing the CK Codex, nor ever playing CK opps., the decent RTT success CK has been having has been mysterious. But that is starting to clear ... thanks to this nice vid.

running frenzied invaders pure melee knight list .. rampager and 4 Karnivores .. just to go with the pre heresy world eaters colour scheme/conversions I have done on them .. I guess in more competitive games I would run the hepatitis house hold one for extra wounds

Recently started 40k. Both AL and House lucaris got worse in comlarison to others this dexs. Rotten luck. But house lucaris still rocks in color scheme

So each Unit can use a different Household...so why limit yourself to just one?

Suggestion on speech: Your tonal patterns are quite repetitive. They start low and the end of sentence ends a tone up from the start. It can start to feel boring to listen to after a while. It communicates a lack of enthusiasm about the topic you are on. Recommend switching your tones up a bit more unpredictably. (It doesnt take much). Content is great though.
