It is hard with the conferences right now as they have readjusted. Since we started with this person we figured it would be easier to stay with him through all of the conferences how they were. This way we shouldn't miss any and we don't have repeats. Thank you for watching 😊

@@thundacracka77started as the pac10 ( not included at the time were Utah and Washington ) Cal Oregon Oregon state UCLA USC ARIZONA ARIZONA STATE then it became the pac 12 when the schools in Washington were added Cal UCLA SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA ( there are 2 USC : the other being the university of SOUTH CAROLINA ) University of Washington Washington state Arizona Arizona state Oregon Oregon state Stanford University of Utah Now ….WE SHALL SEE

Utah Utes are named after the local Native American Tribe in the area the Utes. They have in recent times been working with the tribe to help members get into the university and I believe send them funding for K-12 schools as a part of an agreement for permission to the use of the name in the school athletics. (since 1972)

The Rose bowl is both a location and a bowl game. This used to be true for the Orange Bowl, the Citrus Bowl, and others. If a stadium has bowl in it's name, it probably is, or was, a place where a bowl game is held. Bowl games are post-season play, but the D1-FBS playoffs and an absurd number of different bowl games, has diluted the system. He's telling the truth about the trophy. As another poster mentioned, rivalries and trophies are worth looking into. When I lived in Orlando the local rivalry was UCF vs USF. UCF is in Orlando, USF in Tampa. Their rivalry is called the "War on I-4". I-4 is one of the Interstate highways in the USA; it runs from Daytona, though Orlando, to Tampa. The trophy looks like an interstate sign, it has Orlando and UCF's logo on one side. On the other side it says Tampa and has USF's logo. The rivalry's future is unsure as UCF no longer plays in the AAC. They moved to the Big 12 in 2023.

RIP the PAC 12. FYI, multiple teams moved conferences in the offseason and the PAC 12 now just has 2. So folks are calling it 2PAC

Lovin the videos! Personally waiting on the Big 12 ! “Let’s Go!……Mountaineers!” WVU RIP to the PAC-12 conference, a sad sign of the times. You should look into the wild conference realignments that are happening currently. 100 years of rivalries and conferences shattered..

Husky Stadium is amazing!!! The stadium is known not only for being so loud, but also for salegating. I know you saw a video about tailgating, which there is next to the stadium, but in the tailgating video, they showed the large number of boats that anchor outside of the stadium and "sailgate" there. I was lucky enough to be at the game that set the decibel record. Amazing game against the Nebraska Cornhuskers!!

The Rose Bowl was the first Bowl game. The bowl games started as celebration games in warm weather areas in late December and January. There was no official championship game for a long time, so the bowls pitted conference champs against each other to give people more information on how to vote in the final polls. We had several years where we had multiple national champion teams.

As others have said, sadly, the PAC-12 is no longer a conference. But the teams will still play their home games in their existing stadiums. I've been to three of these stadiums. I am a lifelong USC Trojan fan, so I am most familiar with the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. It really is a terrific stadium, especially after the refurbishment and modernization. But I live about 2 miles from the Rose Bowl. I've been to a couple of UCLA games (with friends that are Bruin fans - I rooted for their opponents). I saw a couple of concerts there. And I learned to drive a stick shift car in the Rose Bowl parking lot (obviously.when no events were planned). I also went to see USC play Arizona State in Tempe, Arizona. Because USC was the #1 ranked team at the time, the big shots at the television network decided to schedule the game at just after noon. It was in the beginning of October. The temperatures got up to 115 degrees fahrenheit (46.11 degrees Celsius), with no shade. I saw at least 5 people being carried out of the stands because of heat related issues during the game. I was frequently pouring water from the couple of water bottles we had frozen the night before over my head throughout the game. And after the game, I jumped into a swimming pool as quickly as I could. I would not go back there until November at the earliest and only for a night game. Thankfully, Arizona State and USC are no longer in the same conference after the re-alignment, so I likely won't have to.

Oregon and OSU used to play for the playtapus trophy but it was lost for like 30 years. it was found again in the late 90's i wanna say and while its not the offcial trophy, its handed back and forth between alumni associations now. As a long time duck fan, i've had the opportunity to see games at USC, Arizona, UCLA, Washington and Oregon state. RIP Pac12 but bring on the B1G!

not covered in this video. The Utes have three rivals in state, "The Holy War" with Brigham Young University (BYU) and the Utah State Aggies. All three compete for the Beehive Boot trophy in a Round Robin competition.

Im a life long Trojan fan. Through the glory years and the recent "tough time to be a trojan fan" years. I love the Coliseum, i wish the fan base was more rowdy and present before the game starts. But because of its location in proximity to Downtown LA, the traffic is horrendous and the parking is tough to find. Ive never seen a packed Coliseum for pregame in my life, and im 36. I hope to see an electric Coliseum again, just like we had from 03-07, best games i ever attended. Fight On! ✌

The universities in this country cater to their athletes. I was to a couple college football games at Western Michigan. While it’s probably one of the smaller stadiums, it holds a good amount of people and a lot of noise.

OK, so who is going to tell him that the PAC-12 is dead??🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣Some of its former members actually thought that "academics" was going to save it and never accepted the fact that TV networks were never going to pay them millions of dollars for making good grades. Academics are great but ignoring reality is fatal. RIP PAC-12. now the PAC-2. I am just waiting on the "30 for 30" documentary on how it happened and could have been avoided.🥳

Lyle I Love College Football 🏈. I'm from the South so I Love the SEC and I went to Auburn War Eagle 🦅 HEY !!! It's crazy that most College Stadiums are bigger than the NFL professionals. I Love It ❤. I hope someday you can come to America 🇺🇸 and take in a College Football 🏈 Game 😉👍🇺🇸

Well this video is very outdated....USC & UCLA just left and joined the Big 10. Stanford, and Cal left and have joined the ACC (Atlantic Coast Conference.....don't even ask, I know what you're going to ask and I don't have an answer)

The south has the greatest football culture, the rest of the country is sprinkled out, like ohio st, michugan, penn st, wisc, iowa up north that really have passion, etc but true american football is the south

Notes, Answers and Clarifications: Washington: The record noise was 133 Db; The Seahawks (and the two soccer teams, Sounders and Reign) play in Lumen Field; The roof over the seats are also copied all over the high school fields in the state since the rain is really almost year-round. UCLA: The corners you see are with the temporary seats removed to host a soccer match. Since American football fields are more narrow than soccer fields, a stadium that wants to host a soccer match must have enough grass surface available for both, so they made that refit for the World Cup. Utah: The Utes are the native tribe that were the original inhabitants of Utah (Also the namesake of the state) Oregon/Oregon State: Yep, it is the platypus trophy! It's not an official award, though, but it's catching on in popularity. Cal: The hill on the Northeast side of the stadium has a decent view of the game, and also does not require a ticket. Many Cal students will climb it to watch. Also, The Pac-12 is breaking up this summer. This fall, USC, UCLA, Washington and Oregon join the Big 10; Arizona, Arizona State, Utah and Colorado are joining the Big 12; Cal and Stanford are joining the ACC: and Oregon State and Washington State are working with the Mountain West to possibly join them next year (Maybe)!

Rest in Peace the Conference of Champions. The old Stanford stadium was a death trap. Memorial Stadium at Berkeley was retrofitted in 2012, but basically looks the same. Ucla doesn't actually have their own stadium. They rent it. 🪓🐻
