Aussie's First Time Driving Cyclekarts in Bonneville Utah USA

In September 2022 I flew from Australia to Bonneville, Utah USA to meet some new friends and drive some Cyclekarts for the first time!
After initially connecting on facebook, it was amazing to meet Adam Arndt in person and see the unbelievable Garage at Bonneville High School that he operates as Shop Teacher.
My sister Evie and I had an unforgettable afternoon, meeting the local Cyclekart community, sharing some knowledge with the high school shop students and finally getting to drive a Cyclekart for the first time!
The trip was planned around the Week of Speed at the Bonneville Slat Flats, where we were meant to be going for the official Cyclekart land speed world record but alas mother nature had other ideas and a few weeks of heavy rain and flooding made it undriveable - just being there and walking on the slat flats was a dream come true for a lifelong motorsport fan like myself.

It sucked that we got rained out at Speed Week again, it's a spectacular event. My mate comes up from Sydney to crew for me on my streamliner. Look us up if you come back next year. #650 AA/BFS.
