driving is stupid considering the only way a train can change direction is from a switch which is either powered (dispatcher) or manual (conductor). Engineers are termed because back in the day engineers actually had to problem solve and fix or keep an engine running to the best of their ability sort of a bad problem. They throttle modulate, as in, forwards or backwards, and thats not considered driving. So there you go, the logical and common sense version, not the stupid ignorance dumb silly English term.
@alexander14858 жыл бұрын
logic is hard.
@alexander14858 жыл бұрын
doesn't matter where you are, "drive" and "trains" is ignorant and improper, apparently australians, europeans and english need to learn that.
@alexander14858 жыл бұрын
dude, what i said is PURE FACT. IT has NOTHING to do with countries. Driving a train is impossible unless the engineer can control his own switches and ONLY THEN can he control his own direction of travel, instead of his own MOVEMENT of travel.. Stop bieng a dumbfuck, please.

What's the lever between the independent brake handle and the reverser? Is that the horn? I'm an engineer for CN in Wisconsin and everything looks familiar except for that lever. Oh, and everything's on the wrong side of the cab.

Pacific National was originally National rail, it was NSW government owned railway. It was sold off to Toll and Patricks. They also acquired Genisys & Wyoming Australia, which is now One Rail. Aurizon is what Queensland Rails bulk and intermodal rail used to be. PN was never owned by QR or Aurizon.

Looking at those controls, they're the same as what I ran in Chicago on the newer MP36's. Only you guys are sitting on the wrong side! ha ha Airline polit are left seat, Railroad engineers/drivers on the right seat. Except Boston and Miami got it all wrong as well with the subway motormen on the left. UGH! ;-)
