This is what dating SHOULD BE. Straight up, no BS and both agree that they're not for eachother. I believe both of them will find someone eventually. They handled this pretty well from my point of view. At the end of the day they were both being themselves and didn't give in.

He came across as everything you come to expect from someone who voted that way. Perhaps a lot more educated than most but I find, not intelligent or deep thinking. Or empathetic. Surely those picking dates knew that this was going to be a waste of their time? It looks pretty obvious which way they would vote. I think these 2 people were used to get a reaction from viewers. Which I guess worked, insofar as we are all opining here. But overall, I think I am going to avoid the American episodes of this show. It looks as though it is going to set people up to fail, to boost their ratings, which is not what you experience in the UK/European episodes, even when they occasionally get it very wrong. Farewell USA 1st dates.

You know, been humble enough to indirectly admit he doesn’t know everything, instead of insulting her saying it doesn’t mean anything. That set the date off on the wrong foot from the get go.

Fair play to them agreeing that they're not compatible, but I do wish he was as polite as her. He ended it in the middle, judged and pretty much insulted her job even before knowing her and showed no enthusiasm near the end. She was at least still trying to be engaging and friendly when she turned him down, he was just like get me out of here 😅.

It's a good thing to be clear about certain stuff from the get go. Otherwise it would be an utter waste of time. I could never date a a progressive liberal woman no matter how hot she is for example.
