It is a very hard decision deciding where to move and live, TRUST me, I know! Austin Texas and Tyler Texas are two of the most common places I hear that people are looking at moving to. Today I go over some differences and similarities is living in Austin and Tyler. Hopefully this will give you a better idea on where to move!!

Hi Ronnie! Good video. I would like to know what comparison both cities have with insects and bugs and snakes? I have heard that Tyler and the rest of East Texas has a lot of mosquitoes. Is this true? Thanks!

Hey Nick! Great question! I’m no expert in the matter but after doing my research I’ve found that Austin and Tyler are very similar when it comes to insects. Both areas can get very hot and humid, so the amount of mosquitoes definitely reflects that 🦟! When it comes to snakes, the same can be said with both cities, most of the snakes will be found in the more rural areas.

Tyler Tx is a crap hole with traffic jams, and every major business has closed down. All of the clubs got shut down by the city after the ATF told TPD they can't enter bars with guns. So the city shut all clubs down. Braodway floods. The Zoo use to be free because Mr Caldwell wanted it free, but the city now charges so don't go. Better off moving to Palestine Texas than Tyler. Tyler mall is dead, and small. Nothing to do in Tyler except go to the movies. The only reason anyone drives to Tyler is for the movie theater of Sams Club. Austin is a metro city and Tyler is not. Tyler schools are so bad most go to private schools in Tyler. And women in Tyler can't drive. The elderly drive high on prescription drugs, because there are so many doctors in Tyler prescribing narcotics. Tyler also has a methadone clinic with druggies. Tyler mall and Longview mall are owned by the same corporation and have the same stores. Longview might be better than Tyler. Tyler car dealerships are the worst and have unskilled workers TJC is a bad school. And the hospital UT Health in Tyler is a school for interns to get experience, so it's not a real hospital like Mother Frances. So the people at UT Health have ZERO experience. It might be the ambulamce drivers first day. The appartments in Tyler are illegal, because the manager has no Texas real estate license, so all contracts are automatically nule and void. The cops in Tyler take 50% off rent illegal bribes from these illegal managers instead of busting them. 10 years in TX prison for a cop to take a illegal bribe from a unlcensed maanger. Grande Hill Estates and Deerwood appartments have cops living there taking bribes from managers with no license. FBI is in Tyler too.

Appartments in Tyler also do not have fire proof walls seperating units required by federal housing code. So if there is a fire appartments are liable for all damages to personal property. So they will ask you to purchase renters insurance, because they're liable.
