My girlfriend is 5'6 and i'm 5'9, she told me that i'm noticeably taller from her perspective. She goes to church, doesn't cuss, and doesn't go to partys. We are not from the US, I used to live in the US and from what i've seen its part of the culture to judge people based on their looks, for example since middle school kids get put into groups like the nerds, popular kids, weird kids etc. Where we live its not like that, you are you and you are unique.

If you are on the average to short average range (5’10-5’7), work on factors like being fit, having nice skin, etc. and you can definitely rival a guy a few inches taller than you. Like a nice looking fit 5’8 guy can definitely rival a decent average looking 5’10-5’11 guy.

I’m 5’ 3’’. I struggled in the dating scene for so many years but not in the party scene. When you’re a cool and fun guy to hang with, people seem to not care too much about your height. My body count is a two digit so I’m not missing out on much. What helped me a lot is having a clean ride, nice outfit, fit body, and lots of friends. If you’re an all around cool guy to hang with then you’ll definitely score a date with about 10-20 of girls interaction. It’ll take you more tries being a shorter guy but that’s the reality. I like to slowly get to know a girl and not go straight into asking her out. My approach is a more secure approach vs others just go straight cold approach. Reminds me of this study implying if you were below average, every inch you gained toward being average has a huge impact. But once you exceed average, you have diminishing returns. And I believe the study said it’s because women instinctively are seeking mates that are taller than most people that we encounter rather than just taller than them. Height is such a big deal nowadays. Back in the 90’s-00’s it wasn’t, I remember hooking up with girls taller than me, great times. The pre-social media era was so much better when it came to relationships.

People actually underestimate how tall 6 foot actually is, I’m 6’0 and a half but I usually round to 6’1. And many people think I’m 6’2 especially because I’m also an ectomorph.

5'4" here. But I get to the gym 5x/week and keep in great shape. My ex wife was 5'4" as well..height was never an issue, my closest ex gf was 5 even, which felt awesome on my end. Tallest I dated steady was 5'6" and she was fine with it, I just was uncomfortable. My advise to shorter guys, date gals you're height or shorter. Then show you're masculine and especially confident, in a respectful way. You can't change you're height but you can change you're personality, charisma, and confidence. Ignore what you can't change, and improve on what you can. And why would you ever want someone that does not fully accept who you are?

I'm 5'5. It only matters on dating apps or online dating, which is due to how a woman's perception of a man is and/or their own insecurities. Once you can maximize what you can do in your own body while making a woman feel secure and comfortable, all that height stuff goes out the window. Sure, there is a demographic who has a preference, equivalent to women who are "size queens" in the bedroom. Every woman is not going to like you, but there are a lot of women who will, especially if you have an inviting personality. I truly never had issues once I got past the societal stigma and my own insecurities.

Most female shoe’s add up to about 1.5-2.5 inches not including boots or heels that likely add 3-4.5 inches so that can be a factor in why when it comes to height their judgement can be a little bit absurd.
