I'm a Wings fan, and every time we play them, I can't stand them. But as soon as the next day comes, and they are off to play another team, I always find myself rooting for them. I am a sucker for underdogs. I felt the same about Evander Kane, Yeah he's had his struggles, but he really got dragged by his crazy ex wife, he went from being "exposed" online, to silently taking her to court, in the state of California, and gain custody of his children, in the most shocking states of all. And then he joined the Oilers, and completely popped off, and was right next to McDavid in being one of the key guys in their playoff run. I really do want this man to win a cup, he's very humble, and most certainly deserves it. He's an exceptional hockey player, and I've played competitive hockey in Juniors, and never made it a step further, but his shot is really something to drool over. Big ups Matthews.

Objectively, he’s the best player in the world right now. A 60 goal year. A 50 in 50 which hasn’t been done since Lemieux. Yeah he’s number one. But I know cause he’s a leaf he’s not allowed to be considered the best. If he does leave the leafs, he could come join my blue & white.
