Defence Minister Richard Marles on Friday met with his Polish counterpart Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz in Warsaw.
The pair spoke about the two nations while announcing a $50 billion defence boost over the next decade.
Poland and Australia will also co-operate in trade shows and prepare mutual offers for the development of the arms industry.
“The relationship with Poland is put into sharp relief and we see that there is an enormous opportunity for our two countries to work together. " Mr Miles said.
"We look forward to working with you to look at ways in which we can reach agreements in respect defence cooperation, as you said, in relation to defence industry," he said.

Poland’s immigration stand over the past years should be an example to Western Europe, but EU have actually sanctioned Poland for it … despite Poland taking in more than 1million people from Ukraine as they fled the conflict and attacks by Russia. Now Poland is being forced to take immigrants arriving (some illegally) from Middle East and Africa, and if they don’t stay in Poland (because they may decide to go further West, and there are no borders to keep them there) then Poland has to pay thousands of Euros for then … how stupid are the policies of the leftist politicians in Europe

At least Poland has a PROPER military, even though it’s thousands of miles away, Australia NEEDS all the help we can get, for a island nation we have a outdated navy and a lack of strained personnel. Hopefully Poland can teach Australia HOW to build up it’s ARMED FORCES and NOT WASTE BILLIONS ON NUCLEAR SUBS that COST half the price we’re paying. 😊

@bobhawke7373
@bobhawke7373 12 күн бұрын
How would we benefit? That would be a relationship where all of a sudden we are partly responsible for the defence of almost 300 million Indonesians who have a third world economy. You want Australia to have a defence agreement with the worlds most populous Muslim nation?
@nathantudor5763
@nathantudor5763 12 күн бұрын
@@bobhawke7373 and why not? They are are closest neighbour (or one of) and as you said have an incredibly massive population. They are relatively friendly with us, they aren’t half way across the world. It makes more sense than entering into a military agreement with a nation almost bordering a belligerent superpower. You also fail to mention that 300 million Indonesians would in turn be responsible for defending us, and unless we plan on going around starting wars, having such a sizeable ally would act as quite the deterrent for any military action against us. We are hard enough to invade as it is, add in the heavy tropical island terrain of Indonesia as another obstacle that needs to be taken to take any military action against us, it makes it even harder. Also, it would give us a more advanced position for defensive missile and missile detection installations giving us a wider defensive umbrella. Furthermore the formation of any military manufacturing capabilities between our two countries will help bolster both economies. Edit: what does Indonesia being Muslim have anything to do in factoring in wether we should have any defensive cooperation with them?

You has sky news ever broadcast a gay kiss? Copilot Sky News has not directly broadcast a gay kiss as part of its regular news coverage. However, the network actively covers LGBTQ+ topics and events. For example, they report on Pride festivals, interview LGBTQ+ rights activists, and highlight significant milestones within the community11. While specific instances of gay kisses may not have been part of their regular news broadcasts, their commitment to covering LGBTQ+ issues contributes to awareness and visibility. 😊
