Traveling Australia: Chillagoe, situated along the fringes of the outback in northern Queensland and home to some 600 caves. We explore Chillagoe for the day before heading back to Mareeba and Granite Gorge. The landscape is stunning, making the trip inland to this secluded area is well worth the experience and memories.
Chillagoe has few accommodations including rustic cabins and camping. Food options are minimal. If you come during slow season it's best to bring your own food and anything else you may want. Food and supplies here are brought in from Mareeba. Since you'll be passing through Mareeba on your way to Chillagoe, it's a convenient stop for picking up your own food and supplies before heading out.

Hey Stephanie! We have a retail/wholesale business, designing, making and selling jewelry, for about 8 years now. We've been planning to travel the world for just about that same amount of time. Took us a long time to save the money and get into a position of being able to take off from work. We had to keep on budget though but it's been so worth all of the experiences! xoxo

I think you may enjoy visiting Iceland as well. Of course it's not hot and beachy like Australia, but the landscape is amazingly beautiful.

I totally love your videos. I am missing the down sizing ones lol. But I LOVE the travel videos especially the one with animal interactions. I lolled on the little one tugging at Michael's shorts from behind he was so stinking cute. thank you both so much for sharing your journeys. WHen your where showing the colors of the outback in this video I thought that an eyeshadow look inspired by these would be so pretty. You could make it a series with ones from all the different places you traveled to this year. I love watching all your videos, but I cant wait to see more makeup based videos once you get back.

I love your relationship with Michael. I have a great marriage as well (happily married 17 yrs but it's different because we have kids) I'm sure we would all love to hear how you both handle difficulties that come up in life/relationship,etc. I've noticed that for us, we tend to come together as a unit and tackle situations together and end up closer once we've overcome the situation. Maybe you'd be willing to do a marriage Q & A video?

I was in my all-terrain sandals, they have excellent grip on the granite but yeah not sure how Michael ended up in his thongs in the caves lol, he's almost always in his trainers. :)

I'd be surprised if your hire car was allowed on the unsealed roads - probably best to check because any damage you sustain may not be covered by them..

I liked this video BUT I dont think you are supposed to feed the wallabees. they become rat like scavengers I think. Maybe I am wrong?
