this video is a classic , obviously the owner chucked his wallet at this 4wd & knows Hardley anything about this car . And that's ok , obviously the owner didn't build this car .. kudos to him for doing this video knowing basically nothing about the build ... that built not bought sticker tho lol

I did most of the electrical work on this car for the previous owner, he did all the hard work for you 😉. Would be a treat for the new owner

Yer please take off the built not bought sticker. When I do a build then see it in a magazine later like somebody else did the work it annoys me. You can't buy a Led Zeppelin album and then become the composer. Don't wanna be a hater but maybe I am.

Been looking for a nice 105 & just found this one. 1998 Toyota Landcruiser FZJ105R GXL 4 Speed Automatic 6 cylinder petrol. One owner, full service history & only 82k on the clock. Looks immaculate from photos. Only problem is price $ 34,990, tempting but feel it's to over priced. It's from a dealer.

@@keqrou To me it was. I found a Granpa spec 1999 105 5 speed manual for $20 K in very good condition. Only 189 K's & 10 months later zero problems, happy as.

I have just bought a 99 model 105 series unleaded + LPG conversion 350 on the dial. (No rust) Anything I need to look out for?

Just keep a lazy 6K laying around for when those 24 valves started to recess into the head, coz of the LPG.

105 came as a 1fzfe or 1hz. Chances are the reason the head on this one is new is because the heads go on the 1hz when you turbo them.

All good bro. Lots of people turbo the 1hz and find out the hard way. When he said it was a new head. The penny dropped. 1hd-fte is the best option for reliable motoring.

Can drop in any H block - 1hdfte dropped in mine easy. Couldnt tell from commentary or imagery if it was a 1hz or 1hdt hence question.

Honestly... the 'built not bought' sticker bothered me since he bought everything and clearly had a superficial knowledge about it... I mean he actually said he had a straight through exhaust with double muffler.... It's a mean rig.
