England is clearly a better side now, we have seen it in the Ashes. My guess is that they will become even better in the coming days and the gap will widen.

@@sheehan92 Rubbish, other than the test match Australia played very ordinary in the Ashes series, several of their players never turned up and captaincy was very suspect at times, Australia at their best would beat England most days. Let’s see what happens in the next series.

@@nexus3180 Australia's ordinary performance is a only reflect of their decline. England has several very good young players, the differences will only grow wider. Healy is overrated and inconsistent, not captain material, Litchfield is not really a national side player, Schutt and JJ are likely past their prime (sad for JJ since she is only about 30), Gardner and McGrath are great when in form but still falls short of Sciver and Capsey. Even in this match they bowled and fielded poorly, a better side would have their measure.

@@sheehan92 England was bundled out of the T20 world cup semi from a winning position, they only drew the Ashes, they were well beaten in the Test (89runs), one T20 was decided by DRS which is a lottery the only really decisive win they had was the third ODI, one bad series means nothing all teams have them. Litchfield is 19 and Darcy Brown is 20 they will get better; Litchfield had a great 100 series. We have a lot of great young players, playing in the WBBL and Australia will not stand still if they start losing. I agree Healy is not the one I would have made Captain; to me she made some strange calls during the Ashes series. Capsey wasn't consistent in WBBL 08 for the Stars. I agree Siver has been in great form lately, she is the backbone of England. Keep dreaming, time will tell who is the best team.

You’re never gonna beat Australia if you bowl them full tosses and drop easy catches. You need to be flawless in the field to even have a chance against them. Fielding really let down the Windies batters

In limited overs there is no such think as a victory by wickets " Australian victory by 8 wickets " The number of wickets left means nothing , the West indies had 7 wickets left If the team batting first wins they win by the extra number of runs they made than the team batting second . When the team batting second wins they win by the number of balls left in the innings when they past the required score . These sports commentators keep calling this as if its final Test Match score , thats where wickets count . All right I'm being pedantic but it annoys me . Great win by Lisa { my favourite cricketer } and the ladies

I've seen, Women players connect the ball so well, they wait for the ball and place in the gaps so well..especially I'm impressed by Aus' Litchfield and WI's opener Mathews. Impressive. Women Aus and WI never disappoint unlike India =WNBA

This West Indian team is a very poor fielding unit. Out of the 5 catches that were offered they managed to take only 1. That's a dismal 20% success rate. No wonder they lost so badly.
