God I love truck racing, used to watch it in the 80s and was lucky enough to win 2 tickets to brans hatch for the weekend, was brilliant. I be had a class 1 HGV for more than 20yrs, would love a race or 2, a few of us used to try acing to drop and back. Great days

They have a series like this here in America, called the Bandit Big Rig Series. Unfortunately, they only race on ovals, and believe me, that sucks...

@@BubbaBearGames An oval as just a single or a few circuits within a particular season would be ok, but the whole season...? Maybe the SCCA will create a series for that group of vehicle. Problem is; we don't have enough tracks that could take the beating.

So I just recently picked up this game called Truck Racing for PS4. Similar beasts they have on the game. It's truly fun to play. Touring car racing but in form of semi's. I love it !

Even though this is a 3 year old video, it is good to see trucks that look like trucks. Aussies seem to do racing so much better than we Americans. Be it Supercars or trucks, you do a much better job than even our NASCAR series.

Here in Switzerland, closed course racing is forbidden. The only racetracks I've ever seen with my own eyes are gokart tracks or scheduled hillclimb events. I would so love to see this sport closer to me! Aussies have their motor sport figured out, people around me don't even know what super stadium trucks are!

Great racing Was wondering if they have guidelines such as size turbos ,horsepower ,or if a truck has been turned up . Just curious about rules I’m sure if there isn’t rules and somebody gets his butt kicked they will be complaining, crying because they can’t keep up . Want to take it to the next level ? Put trailers on them with cages , seats and seat belts . Now you can not only watch a race but you can be right in the middle of it while you do .

You can't beat the Oran Park truck races in the 90s. Don Hodge, Gerry Bajema, Rodney Crick and the others all battling on like crazy in a 50 lap race. That was racing. None of this 6 laps stuff these days.

Definitely not stock trans. Looks like maybe 5 or 6 speed semi auto. Pretty light at 5 tonnes so doesn't need 18 gears . Probably stock block with bigger turbo, injectors, fuel pump. Water cooled brakes.

These are modified normal trucks, am I right? Thats just a little bit cooler than the purpose build racetrucks we have in Europe. Which are still cool tho.
