One of the Salzkammergut region’s highlights is Hallstatt - many consider it the most beautiful town in Austria (in China, a housing development has even been modelled on it). At 1 minute in is a shot of a white building with the waterfall just outside. In 1998 this was a hostel and I got a bed by the window and had the best sleep ever with the sound of the waterfall just outside.

Austria and Switzerland are probably the most beautiful scenery in Europe. Yes, Italian lakes and Norway are also stunning but somehow not quite as impressive as those two. ?

sorry to say: Hallstatt was in 1999 already on billboards in sanlitun ( beijing) as I was working then there ,\an ausseer in the disporrah in korea till 023
