I have to admit I really like this drone - the video quality straight out of the unit is very good. I just wish Freewell would post the ND filters out soon as the high shutter speed does make the videos quite jittery.

Good informative video Gavin! Did your Nano+ come with the rear rubber gimbal dampeners orientated where you can see the oblong hole when viewing directly?

Very helpful thanks. My software update required an SD card installation. Not provided by Autel. Also you might like to mention that the controller and drone batteries need charging before any of this can be started.

Hi, great to have a uk drone guy on KZfaq u are up there with captain drone n half chrome and others great channel watched lots of ur vids most recent crashing a dji4 but sometimes it's nice to get away from dji as good as they are n watch someone as gud as you testing urself with another brand, I think whilst do ur dji stuff is great but could do similar vid,s of other equally ish 😅 drones to dji, I mean it maybe u n others run out of dji stuff to inform about cos u are all informing about the same faults, problems, praises....there are more quality drones out there that deserve a decent amount of attention.......just saying ...

Very good video. I had the Nano+ for a while now and still habe issues with it coming from the DJI Air2. Sometimes the picture quality is absolutely brilliant, sometimes the oversharpening can almost ruin a shot. Also I haven‘t found the control settings to match my familiar control feel. Your tip regarding the tilt up was great as I hated the lock at 90 degree.

At 1:52 you show plugging the straight plug into the phone. at 2:55 you can clearly see that you have plugged the 90 degree plug into the phone. Have you decided the latter is better?

The latest version of the sky app leaves a lot to be desired. On a Samsung S8 phone you can't even use a lot of the functions or setting because the app is partially off the screen. It's a bit better using the Tripletek Pro but that also has some items (like exp) that are off the screen.

The camera pro settings seem a bit strange, perhaps you could include these in a video. Not exactly sure why some can and cant be changed. Great videos, Im enjoying the Nano+ the camera is amazing at 50mpx

I like to plug the right hand cord into the phone from the top, otherwise the cord gets in the way of the camera/video button on the right of the controller.

02:05 I scanned it and was taken to something way different. 02:35 If I follow your instructs they WONT connect. If I follow the Quick Start Guide, they do. 05:00 The app has been changed some since this vid. NOW First drone with a phone/tablet screen. Wont work out in Sun light. The drone is not the expensive part.

Just received my Nana+ and most notably is the high whine of the fan. I haven't noticed the whine in any of the videos I've watched, and nobody has mentioned it. But it is noticeably annoying how whiny it sounds. Second is that I've tried to upgrade the firmware 3 times now without success. The progress gets to 20%, and there is a beep from both the RC as well as the Aircraft. It hangs for a while then a popup comes on screen saying the upgrade has failed. Third, my gimbal is cocked about 45˚ to one side. And I cannot find a way to adjust it. Of course, calibration of the gimbal fails from the phone interface in Sky. Any suggestions?

Can you or anyone please help me? I am on the latest app version (IOS) and want to access the HDR function but when I try it is greyed out and I keep getting the message 'Not available in PRO mode. When I had an earlier version of the app, the PRO mode was at the bottom of the vertical scrolling menu as it shows in your video Gavin. However, this has disappeared now and I simply can't get it out of pro mode to access HDR. As an additional comment, why on earth do companies insist on giving us a 50Mp option and then deliver it only in jpg and at 72 ppi? Useless! We need this kind of capability delivered as RAW file for stills WITH HDR and shouldn't HDR be part of pro mode (whatever that allows us - manual adjustment seems to be all) to get the best out of our drones? Mystifies me? iPhones - great photos - on;ly jpgs at 72 ppi - pointless!! It should be possible if this quality is available on these drones/cameras unless it's deliberately tantalising us to buy a more expensive model that does off proper hi-res RAWS? Imfuriating. Gavin - thank you for a great channel with so much useful info, and I love the Nano + for its great quality 4k, no geofencing: that knocks out the Mini 3, but I'm frustrated by ludicrous and unnecessary limitations. Another point - the poor wind capability can only be due to one or both of two things: motors of a lower power than the Mini2, or it's the soft and flexible nature of the Nano+ blades. Has anybody ever tried Mini 2 blades on the Nano +? They fit, but I haven't wanted to chance it yet!!
