bisi bele bath recipe | bisibelabath recipe | bisibele bhath or bisibele rice with detailed photo and video recipe. a bowl of traditional, flavourful rice and lentil-based dish from karnataka or kannada cuisine. it is basically an extended version of the masala khichdi recipe with additional flavoured spices and vegetables. it is often confused with another south indian cuisine recipe i.e sambar rice or sambar sadam but both are completely different recipes.
bisi bele bath recipe | bisibelabath recipe | bisibele bhath or bisibele rice with step by step photo and video recipe. the word bisi bēle bhāt literally means hot lentil rice mixture in kannada language. it is perhaps one of the most common rice-based lunch box recipes prepared in almost every household in south india. generally, it is either prepared for breakfast or lunch or even a tiffin box, but it can also be prepared for dinner with a choice of vegetable raita.

Thank you for posting this video. When I was working in Bangalore few years back, my daily breakfast used to be only bisibelabath and I really loved it. Now for sure I will do at home n tell my kids that this was my daily breakfast then! 😊

Turned out superb. I tried it today. It was delicious and ditto like bisibelebath we get made by experts. However since we eat very minimum spice at home, in the masala powder I used only 13 chillies instead of 20 . However if I had used more chillies it would be more chatpata..but we prefer minimum .
