It's never too early to start getting ready for Christmas! Learn how to make these totally adorable Christmas Ornament Gift Card Holder Tags in today's video tutorial. I'll also share a delightfully simple and dimensional Easel Step Card (directions on my blog) and a super fun mini Flip Photo Wallet (basic directions also on my blog. All are made with Authentique Paper's delightfully retro Jingle Collection. .

Sandy, I think Authentique has gone out of business. They haven't released any new collections in almost 2 years. It makes me sad, because they were one of my favorite paper companies. Thanks for the sweet words!

I agree with nwlady down below- I wish I had found you much earlier than today! I can see I'm going to be picking up additional tips for you. I have a ton of Authentique paper collections or pads, that I've picked up from Tuesday Morning, and I try to make a card or two for people out of the 4x3 cut outs. Kathy, which Basic Grey magnets do you use, the 5/8" or the smaller ones? I'm guessing the 5/8?

Thank you so much, Jessica! I so appreciate your kind words and your willingness to share my channel on Scrapbook,com! I use both sizes of the Basic Grey Magnets. The ones I used here are the small ones. I save the 5/8" inch ones for more 'heavy duty" jobs.

You can find them on sale pretty often now. Dies are expensive, but they can be used so many times that they are worth it. I use mine all the time, so the price per use is pennies.

Hi, Gladilyn! Thank you so much for your kind comment. I have lots of card making tutorials here that use just paper and a few simple embellishments that might fit the bill for you. Also, I have many folio base tutorials that use just folded cardstock, and then you can add your own finishing touches. Happy crafting!

I admit it... I have a tough time thinking of Christmas until the Thanksgiving turkey is in the oven, but these projects are so much fun I might just get an earlier start because of your inspiration! I use Basic Grey magnetic snaps. I've found them before at JoAnn. I always buy a bunch of them whenever I find them as they can be hard to locate. Thanks for the kind words!
