Yup! Having kids, esp multiple kids, greatly increases the chance of women staying home, which is exactly where they want & need us! When women stay in the private sphere, they benefit from way more free labor & much less competition in the workforce.

I live in Florida. I did not vote for this. I am working on moving. But I will have to leave literally my entire support system. I will have to leave my job and get a new job. I will have no friends or family for a long time that are within driving distance. I will need to establish myself with a new doctor. I will need to find a new place to live, along with first two months of rent and out of state moving costs. Please do not abandon your blue sisters in red states. We are trying. My children are adults now too and have decided not to have children because of the cost of raising them. And they’re employed and earning decent salaries.

I hear this. My grandmother had 3 children, 6 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren…because 4 of the grandchildren decided not have kids because they were high earners and didn’t want to quit their jobs to have kids.

2 of my 3 children have already permanently sterilized themselves before they were 25 and the third one who is 23 is already making appointments and saving money to do the same. My children know they can never afford kids so they took steps to save themselves the trauma of not being able to properly pay for children. My middle daughter was forced to carry a baby with no brain to full term and then watch her suffocate to death. She never wants to be forced to go through that again. She wasnt offered any counseling or support and doesnt qualify for affordable health care because she has a job. Her job doesnt offer anything other than paperwork to apply for foodstamps and medicaid. My other daughter and my son were traumatized watching their sister go through that and have decided to never be forced into having children. My family line has come to a dead stop because there is zero support for families, children, communities and even 2 working parent homes cant put food on the table anymore. It's absolutely depressing.
