Hi everyone. KZfaq is at it again, disabling our comments. I re-enable them only to have them turned off again. I think it only lasts a day so hopefully they will be on tomorrow.

I appreciate that you were able to recognize when it was better to leave the camera down. I’m constantly appalled at the amount of vloggers who apparently don’t understand that you don’t need to video every moment

I’m autistic and killer whales are one of my special interests. I know all of SeaWorld’s orcas by name and can easily tell them all apart. By the way, if my mom had me sit that high up and far away from the tank in that stadium, I’d flip out lol.

Three great kids. You see the autism in the kids but all 3 are funny and probably more fun than most of their NT peers. I really hope they are making good friends. You are raising your kids really well especially seeing it as Ian grows up. He is so smart when it comes to understanding himself and I think he's improved so much he can stim but it doesn't change the fact that those boys are having a great life. One day I want to snorkel la Jolla. Went there because my stepdad parents live there loved Coronado Beach. Love these videos that just show how much fun autistic kids can be when they feel comfortable being the amazing people they are. Ian I see Jesus in how you want to help others with autism I have learned about myself at 32 from you.

Whenever I go on a trip, I always take my Polaroid camera that uses 600 Polaroid film, and I take some very cool pictures of things, especially when the 600 Polaroid film is expired, because then I get even more cooler pictures!!!!!!!

Hi, your have a blessed family…I watched your video from 1 year ago about switching Ian from risperidone to Abilify. I also have a 16 year old son who I had to put on medication 5 months ago because of him going thru puberty and being aggressive and violent. My son is taking Risperidone and I’m starting to see some negative side effects now, could be TD I’m not sure. He’s on a low dose .5mg a day. I’m wondering if Ian is still on Abilify and is that the only thing he’s taking? If so, what is his daily dose? I’m thinking about talking to my sons Dr about making the switch and would like more info from you if Ian is still on Abilify. He looks great thank God!!

Usually when parents have multiple children with autism, 1 of the parents is diagnosed too so I was just wondering if it is the case with your family? Looks like you had an amazing holiday, I would love to visit America one day 😀

We think Brittny may be on the spectrum as she exhibited some autistic behaviors as a youth, but she either grew out of them or permanently masked those traits so to us it wasn’t worth getting an official diagnosis.
@lizzykate93
@lizzykate93 Жыл бұрын
@@AutismFamilyChannel thank you for your reply. I masked myself which is very typical in girls but I feel like I need a diagnosis to help explain myself better. Not everyone wants a diagnosis and that's great, everyone is different which is what makes us all special 😊

I know you and the mom are too far gone and probably permanently weird. But if you want to give these kids a chance, throw away their videogames, phones, any technology they have. Get them all into team sports so they can learn how to act somewhat like other kids from other parents that are normal. This will also build their athletic ability and confidence. Unless you want them to turn out really weird and be at a great disadvantage when they're older, you should really break the cycle and do this stuff for them. Their brains are still developing and they're going to develop just like yours if you are their only influence. You need to get them uncomfortable so they can develop their character. Also, please stop filming them and putting it on the internet. It is beyond weird, cringy and inappropriate. These poor kids deserve to live a normal life, not this. I was given videogames at a very early age and allowed to do anything. I was always on my phone or the computer as well. I was also not properly socialized. I'm 25 now and it has been a nightmare going through college and life after without having normal social skills. I wished so many times to be a normal kid and fit in. It was hell and took many years to develop myself as an adult and even still they're not great - the only friends I can get are girls who want to be around me because I'm attractive and taught myself how to be funny, which is nice and has given me a huge advantage but it won't be the case for everyone. I have like 2 guy friends in the entire world. I also could care less about have a friend group, I know that is not normal and a behavior I was taught because my dad is the same way. Also, never homeschool your kids or let them get a GED to get out of school early. Please save your kids from the hell, torment and embarrassment that I lived from ~11-21. Force them to be uncomfortable to the point where they can do anything or strike up a conversation anyone and not be shy. My parents never did this for me and I was the result. I know this must be tough to hear, but don't let them turn out to think or feel they are different from their peers. It caused me unbearable depression for a long time. Look up the studies on autistic traits in parents of kids who have autism. Do everything you can to be the opposite of those traits for the sake of your kids please.

Your overstepping they will grow up just fine there is nothing wrong with standing out besides what you are talking about is teaching them to mask autistic traits which is extremely problematic when forced for too long. The world needs free thinkers.

Sorry you had to go through this but it’s not the same for everyone so don’t generalize. I don’t think the boys are weird and there are enough people who think the same way. Furthermore: times are changing which means that people are more accepting and less ignorant than when you grew up so things will be different nowadays
@jam9297
@jam9297 Жыл бұрын
@@mscoot629 they are much weirder than I was. Much. No one thought the same as I did. These kids are going to get the worst of it because they were never taught how to be normal.

@@allankline9157 Dude. I'm a free thinker, believe me. I don't relate to anyone. But these kids are so far off they will never be able to make it and I feel sorry for them. I just barely made it and these kids are leaps and bounds weirder than I was.
