The reason it is a 96 that was assembled 10 of 96, is it was the final production year for the Fleetwood, and they assembled the cars until they used all the parts to assemble them. Manufacturers often use leftover previous year parts. I had a early year production 92 thunderbird, but it had the 91 front bumper.

Love this!!!! This Caddy is the sister car to the Buick Roadmaster my cousin bought a few weeks ago. I agree with you Randy, all of the fullsize GM cars (Fleetwood, Roadmaster and Caprice) are fun to drive. Its like driving Aladdin's rug.😂

$5500 is more than fair for a car that will be a reliable means of transportation for someone. The real fans of this channel understand you and your passion for restoring vehicles. We see and hear the excitement and the let down when you succeed and fail. Keep doing what makes you happy. Your real fans appreciate you keeping it real. Thank you

I’m an independent inspector for a major player, I’ve seen 3 of these type GMs in the last few months, 2 roadmasters an a brogham . They were comparable in equipment and miles . $12,000 to $17,000 was the internet selling price on them. So anything less than $10,000 on yours is a gift. I’m in east Texas btw. I started doin what you do 55 yrs ago. Don’t know nothing…..

My Neighbor had one of these cars and would pay a guy to drive him and his 2 friends to the horse track. The 3 old, retired guys sat in the back seat reading the racing program on the highway for the 50 miles trip. I would pass him on a regular basis going to the track and you would see the back dome lights on so they could see the program. Brings back memories of a simpler time in my life.

I think one of the reasons I watch all your videos is because we’re a lot alike I grew up loving cars even though my family was poor we didn’t always have a car but I love cars in general not just a certain brand or certain kinds

That car brings back so much nostalgia. I’m about the same age as you and my parents always wanted a car like this. We never had it and always got the closest Oldsmobile equivalent but with very few options. The sound of that antenna motor is the same as our Olds 98 sounded. All that old GM stuff has a special place in my memory😂. Good luck, I think $5,500 is a great deal.

Im from the UK i watch your channel everyday and i love it i would rather have that cadillac Fleetwood over most modern cars old cars have character they are all different not like new cars that all blend into each other because they are all very similar OLD IS GOLD

Hey Randy. Love your content. Keep it coming. I have to agree with you because I feel the same way. I truly believe a car is not just metal and wheels. A car may not have a soul but they require love and care. The better you take care of them and treat them well, they will take care of us and never let us down or leave us stranded. I don’t know how many times my car has gotten me home only to get into them the next day and she is under the wear requiring some TLC. I believe she pushed herself to get me home safe and sound. Glad to know it is not only me.

Mad Luv N Respect! I'm the same way. Like when a car gets wrecked, it loses its soul. E.g. it is never right afterwards. Love your content as always!

Anthony from Specialty Motor Cars, Big Al's friend had a Caddy with a top just as dirty and he had it cleaned beautifully. I believe the Autospa could do an AMAZING job. And yes, i could see $6500 all day.

My 1971 Fleetwood had features that are even impressive today. Automatic hi/lo headlights. Automatic climate control. Fiber optic turn signal and brake light indicators on the fenders so you would know if a bulb was burned out just by looking over the hood as you drove. Hell it even had automatic presets on the radio. You have to remember back then, the radio had a dial and a knob that you had to turn by hand to tune the station. But when you hit a preset, the knob would start turning automatically and the indicator would start moving up the scale to the preset station. That was some pretty bad ass shit in 1971. All four doors had ashtrays and cigarette lighters which again, in 1971 was pretty cool! The driving experience was pretty awesome. Super smooth, like Randy said, it’s basically like driving a couch floating on a cloud. if you have never experienced an old car like this, you really are missing out.
