I don’t think you even realize how much you learned from your experience. Some of it is simple things that I never thought of - like cutting a thin piece off the edge to use to repair a crack. TBH, I like to buy tool & parts, and spend way too much money instead of using what I already have. I’m not an auto mechanic - just a DIY guy who would rather pay for tools than repairs. This and the one I just watched on the frame hydraulics were top quality, so thanks!

Zip ties work for filler rods and they come in all sorts of colors!

Ideally, you want to match the filler plastic to the part plastic. I found a chart somewhere showing how to identify different plastics if they aren’t marked - from hardness, how they cut, how they burn etc.

I think they’re all made in China but they shouldn’t a long time ago. Not much to go wrong. Thanks for watching
