Amazing value for money for the car of such size and comfort. Maruthi like mileage with Benz Audi like comfort and BMW like power ...yes it's Passat...

Our neighbour has it. Just class, a masterpiece, ageless design, that engine with DSG is a rocket, he sometimes gets 20-22kmpl on highway journeys. That's what I get from my Verna diesel sx AT.

Jetta tdi (2015) too consistently give an average of 21 kmpl on highway. Pretty decent average.

Let's not forget, the SHAPE of the fuel tank is not a rectangle or perfect square automobile car makers will design the fuel tank an irregular shape to accommodate trunk. The priority will be given to the trunk design, not for the fuel tank. To conclude, the fuel indicator should not be considered.

I have the previous model with the bluemotion. I once got 24 kmpl on the highway with the speed just nudging over 90kmph. I’m pretty sure it can do 1000kms on a full tank. Highway of course.

I got fuel efficiency of 18km/l in my new BMW 330i driven in cruise control @100km/hr for 160 km dirve. NO wonder diesel cars get such efficiency. BMW 302D ARAI figure is around 22km/l and i believe it will definitely get 20km/l since my petrol car exceeded ARAI figure..

Fabulous car. Considering it to be a mid-sized sedan full of luggage and passenger and that too averaging 17.7 kmpl is excellent.

Passat is a best luxury car after c eclass and Audi A4. value for money car under 45 lakh.

There's a camry and an accord ...they won't break down after 10 years and will probably still run after going down a hill. Reliability matters 😂

Its the same car made on the same assembly line. Only aesthetic differences ..superb looks way too good...andSkoda have been more creative.

@@masterchef6694 Look at the design of Passat, it is not at all easy to design such a masterpiece. Every detail is well thought and sorted out. Once you are inside the cabin, you will have zero complaints. Superb is same, but when you drive back to back you will appreciate VW. Platform, engine, gearbox all same, but VW is better built. Superb has a better backseat, so it rules te segment. My vote still go for Superb as value for money and crystalline looks. Camry comes third, I haven't seen a new accord on Indian roads yet.

0:01 Ciaz petrol returning 10-12 kmpl 😂 17.7 kmpl with Avg speed of 59 is a pretty good number. Respect Passat. Even my Vento petrol returns 16kmpl with avg speed 55. Kudos VW!

That’s true all VW cars give lots of mileage and performance my AMEO give 22 to 23 in highway without any issues

In DSG you can hit 27kmpl, (100kmph in 7th gear)

Yes the VW 2.0 is the best engine in the world according to me, Yes literally. I feel bad that there is no great value in India of German engineering,i mean not for Passat but the car which is in many ways same like Passat at very less price the Polo, it is also a Passat with small engine and size but comfort and driving is as good if not less. Its good to see a 2.0 l engine making such great efficiency whereas small cars sometimes don't even make this kind of milage. I don't see need of anyone buying Camry hybrid as this diesel is such a efficient pot.

Sir, Camry is different, Toyota reliability and low cost maintainence, plus the real real comfort of back seat which no German cars can match
