The arrival of a new BMW M car is always big news for performance car fans, and the new M4 is no exception.
Costing almost £60,000, the replacement for the legendary old BMW M3, the M4 has moved away from the V8 power plant in the old car, and is now powered by a 425bhp twin-turbocharged straight-six engine.
Meanwhile, the similarly prices Audi RS5 is propelled by a 4.0-litre V8, which produces 430bhp. It's also mated to the Audi quattro four-wheel drive system. Like the BMW, it also features a dual-clutch gearbox, the Audi S tronic system.
There's no denying the Audi lacks the fun factor of the BMW - the quattro four-wheel-drive system prevents the lurid powerslides than you can really go for in the M4. You can also feel the weight of the engine over the front axle in the RS5, but it certainly doesn't feel slow at all.
Overall then, the RS5 feels very punchy, and the gearshift is also really nice - the same can be said for its V8 soundtrack. It's not a track machine though, and the car from Neckarsulm is more of a very stable and very rapid cruiser.
Meanwhile, the BMW M4 feels very raw and very serious, especially when all the settings are put at their sportiest via the M1 switch on the steering wheel. These also turn the traction control and stability control off.
With no electronic aids, the M4 is always trying to get its tail out. However, the body control is amazing, but there is a feeling that it's all a bit artificial. The same can be said for the engine note, which has been enhanced.
The M4 is a proper M car though, and something BMW can be truly proud of. It set a lap time of 1m09.9s, compared to the 1m12.2s set by the Audi - that's 2.3s quicker.

Very true...I used to own a BMW,now I'm owner of a AUDI.I love both brands,i have friends with BMW and we never argue which is better.The truth is most people in the comments doesn't even have a car/are kids/are just blind fanboys.

Old thread but I agree. I have an RS5, but I absolutely love the M4. The ONLY reason I got the RS5 is because I felt it was a better overall car in sun, rain, snow, dirt, leaves, mud, cold, etc. My decision wasn't based on track performance at all. I love both but am happy with my choice.

The RS5 is the safer car to go fast on the autobahn. It can cope with snow, rain and mud. The M4 is sexy and more fun to drive around corners and on race tracks. These are two completely different approaches/philosophies.

Both cars are nice to have but m4 is just faster and more fun, so I will take the RS5... ...because m4's are everywhere.

You're all getting impressed by the M4 but i'm getting impressed by the driver who pushes an M4 as hard as it can on tight corners with all that torque and traction control off without loosing the rear end so much.

Pagana agree. My tuned 520BHP F80 M3 sometimes lose its rear wheel traction , when full throating even more than 100Mile/h on the straight road

99.9 percent of the people commenting here will get a miles better track time in the rs5 regardless which car they like .... or end out in the toolies trying to get a good time in the m4

Since I'm the type of person who rarely goes to the track anyway, the RS5 would be the perfect car for me. It's so good around town and it's gorgeous. The M4 looks great, it really does, but I've always had a thing for the Audi 5's, especially the RS5.

Dmitri Felbinger If you dont care about ultimate performance why even buy a car in this class? If you just care about vanity and "around town" driving just get an S5 and save 30K lol. Regardless the M4 blends top track performance with real world practicality unlike any other car in this class.

I recently picked up a 2013 RS5. Perfect combination of sporty and luxurious. You don’t recognize it as a “sports car” at first. But when you hit the gas, hear that naturally aspirated V8 open up and the spoiler pop up, you see the beast lurking underneath that finely tailored suit.

***** Do I know what that is you mean? Yes, stability control. It won't stop someone from wrecking if there are other cars on the road and they're power-sliding. That is only for the track, and a 1 driver track at that.

Hans Blitz Trust me, those stabili controls used in bmw, mercedes etc. does not allow you to powerslide at all. They immediatly cut the throlle if the car starts slipping and engage brakes if needed.

Remember that time BMW made the M3 for six years straight without ever acknowledging that it would likely have catastrophic engine failure due to worn rod bearings? That was awesome.

You forgot other spicy engine parts that go kaboom: - Exhaust Cam Vanos Sprocket tabs - Exhaust Cam Sprocket Bolts - Chain tensioners breaking - Headgasket failure Then you have infamous rear carrier panel that breaks away from the chassis, rear diff clunk from LSD... -

@@beastofackworth Wheels are an easy problem to solve. Critical parts of a chassis like the rear subframe carrier plate or critical engine parts are another thing. They could've done a better job.

@@beastofackworth 2013-2015 RS5 has the R8 engine V10 with 2 less cylinders. there are same parts numbers all over the block. so the block was made to do crazy V10 stuff while only doing V8 work in the RS5. it became bulletproof with essentially over engineered internals. most other manufacturers need at least 6L of displacement to make 450whp, while Audi does it with only 4.2L. plus this comparison is RWD versus AWD so not exactly apples to apples.

@@drywater3559 BMW had been making naturally-aspirated M cars with over 100bhp/litre since the 90s. It's nothing new. And Audi V8s are far from bullet-proof; they're known for timing chain issues for a start.

I've owned both I sold my rs5 to get the m4 comp both cars are great in there own way I prefer the bmw in the end it just comes down to preference but both cars are great

I was close to buying the RS5 - Audi makes awesome machinery. However, the ability to extract more fun out of it via tuning, really kept me from the final purchase. Once I was in the M4 I felt at home - especially since I traded an e60 M5 for it. Now with an MHD flash tune there's no comparison.

i think BMW uses a technique where there pump fake noises to the in car speaker make it sounds nice and sounded different at the outside. sorry for my poor english though :/

The audi RS5 is 6 years old. 2secs is a fair loss for the RS5 because it's older. But the RS5 is better looking and sounds brutal and who knows what's the knew RS5 is going to be like. BMW fell SCARED!!!!, AUDI is taking this one. #audifanboy

RS5 came out in 2010...its 4 years old. Plus that didnt stop people from comparing the 2010 RS5 with the 2007 E92 M3 when the RS5 came out....how is this different? Also the RS5 barely matched the old M3 when it came out..Audi didn't raise the bar, despite having 3 extra years to develop. The M4 upped the bar big time its a lot faster, more efficient, while only having 11 more hp than the last version, and still less than the Audi.

That's why I got an RS5 over the M4. Love them both but all wheel drive in the real world with 450 hp is a AWESOME. And it's a fine daily driver for me.

Some of you bimmer boys got to relax. I am so disappointed that you guys settle for whatever BMW builds you. Of course performance wise BMW is the best. What did you expect? Especially the RS5 is based on a chassis from 2007! However, the sound of the new M3/M4 is pissing me off because I have owned M cars most of my life for their performance AND sound because both combined equal fun.

Actually this is like comparing a rolls royce to an s-class....different levels of luxury, the rs5 was not created to be thrown like a maniac around a track. What I can say is for the road Audi RS models are better than M's but on the track there is no doubt most of RS cars are slower than M's...So my advice for anyone who wants a car for the track and daily driving I think Audi RS cars are a good option and for those who have the money to have two cars than go for an RS for daily driving and an M for track.

The main bit that the RS5 loses out in this comparison is the torque, Audi is always going to be heavier because of their focus on quality and quattro drivetrain. But I think they will make it up with more torque. Just remember, Audi has yet to show their hands since the A4 platform has not been updated since 2009.

Observing further, the front heaviness of the Audi, higher curb weight, and longer stopping distances are what slowed it down, to produce a 2 second slower lap. All these factors contributed. The M4 is lighter, had ceramic brakes, more torque and better able to transition in the twisties.

+Jack Thorpe I do like m4 design. Its more agressive. But audi is somehow agressive, yet elegant and yet also calm. Its a simple but mysterious design that my eye cannot process correctly. Interior wise audi got a nice look, but outdated components (electrics) Wish they finally give it more updated hardware and some nice extras

The RS 5 looked like a heavy sloppy mess on this track compared to the M4. I was really surprised to see the time differences being roughly under 3 seconds apart from each other.

i'm normally a bmw fan but recently they have moved too far away from their essence (active tourer, front wheel drive, small turbo engines and other shit)…and also they've run out of new design ideas (except for i8)…this one goes to audi

i was only saying i'd take the rs5 over the m4…maybee it came across in the wrong way. audi is shit overall, volkswagen for rich people^^ btw, next one series will be front-wd and three cylinder powered. i'd rather drive a nice smooth electric car than a three cylinder, wtf?

Funny thing is the RS5 laps closer to the BMW M235i autoexpress tested than the M4!! The RS5 is only 1.3 seconds faster then the BMW M235i, and the M4 is 2.3 faster than the RS5..

Ceramic brakes on the M4 is what made it so much faster around the track. If Tires and brakes were equated, I'd bet these two are REALLY close around a circuit.

Everyone goes on about saying Audi is more comfortable on the roads etc. If you want a car that is comfortable on the roads and relaxing, why would you buy one with a 4 litre V8?

The Audi looks safer and more stable around the lapse, yes it's 2.3 seconds slower but it is way safer than the M4. On the open road, a car that's going to keep you alive for 2.3 seconds longer is worth buying.

you don`t get ceramic brakes on the RS5 or AMG too and BMW has a little low price than the competitors i think it is priced well for what it is... It has a lot of improvements compared to E92 and has the same price ;) I just want an M4 Gran Coupe :D or an M3 :) but the 4 Gran coupe looks a little better :D

Well, carbon ceramic brakes are very expensive. I think it's pretty abvious that a supercar technology doesn't cost you 2K, and it is not stock because it would raise the price. And the stock brakes are actually very good !

The M4's biggest advantage is that it is (more or less) 300 kilos lighter. The presenter only mentioned that the roof is carbon fibre. The car however has other parts made of that material, as structural beams of the roof, the transmission prop shaft, and others. The rear glass is thinner than normal, the boot lid is made from special thermo-plastic, the suspension all-round is made from special aluminium. And so you end up with a 2-wheel drive car being (almost) *three seconds* faster than a 4-wheel drive car, exactly because you have far less mass and therefore far smaller centrifugal forces to battle around bends.

But people who actually buy one of these, aren't gonna bother with videos like this, they don't look at numbers or equipment and such, they already have a preferred choice. Like me, I'd go for an Audi any day, no questions asked.

i really see no point arguing which car make is better , audi, bmw and benz since in all honesty they are all really all nice to drive. All the good things about German engineering can not all be defined by a single brand. each of these german automakers have their niche that suits peoples' different needs. there are some things Audi's does better than BMW and vice versa, For example Audi's steering is just to awkward for some, and the Benz reputation for comfort, especially in the s-class is undeniably the best (of course this is up for debate) but this is just how some people feel. what im trying to say is that these 3 automakers are the bench markers for the auto industry and when you claim one of the german brand is far superior than the rest of the german automakers , your argument is not really valid

I don't think a single lap is enough to establish which is faster. Brake a second earlier or get on the throttle a second later or any other driver error will effect a lap time, you would need 3 or 4 good laps and take the best time, maybe even with different drivers.

Don't make a confusion between engine and sound. With the RS5 engine it would have been heavier, less powerfull, with less torque... So pretty much a worse car. It's pretty good IMO and i think that in real life the sound is different. A lot of people say that since they have driven the car they know that the sound is not a that big issue. Also you can change the exhaust and disable the Active sound...

Kaisuke971 Not nececeraly... The fact that the M4 is a 3 liter doesn't mean is lighter than a 4 liter V8. A inline turbo 6, not only has the extra weight of the aditional turbo, but also the components atached to it like piping, intercooler, stronger exhaust, bov, etc. But also the block and the internals have to deal with more torque, therefore need to be stronger, therefore heavier. That's why a LSX conversion in RX-7 has been so popular in RX-7, the whole 5.7 or 6.2 NA V8 weight almost the same as the stock twinturbo wankel engine, and everybody knows that the wankel engines are the lightest car engines in the world... Is the turbocharged part that adds weight. the Famous 2JZ and Rb26 are very heavy engines, but they are very very strong. lexus LFA engine, is a V10, has the size of a V8, and the weight of a V6, and makes 560hp. and probably the engine alone costs more than the entire M4 :p

For the people saying that he was 'drifting the car', and 'whats the camera car' on the hot lap you need to keep in mind that usually the lap they show is not the actual lap they timed. Most of the channels actually just piece bits together to make a better video. Reading Autocar magazine when they did the drag race between 918 vs P1 vs Bike, even that was just filmed for effect after they ran each vehicle separately and timed them. The results are accurate though and personally i think this guy is one of the better drivers in terms of getting the most out of the cars they test.

Colin Cas The M4 is 6s slower than C63 AMG Black Series on nordschleife. I suspect that new C AMG coupe will be evenly matched with a M4. It is not fair to compare an old generation to a new one.

I think the only reason BMW uses fake sound is because there's so much soundproofing in the car that the engine can barely be heard. I have a 2013 f30 335i and I can't hear the engine at all at 5,000 RPM when I have the music on at a moderate volume. When I'm just driving around normally, I don't even notice it. However, when I stand outside the car and listen to it being driven by a valet or the guys at my local BMW dealer, it sounds pretty loud.

m4 sounds meh... its a lighter faster more agile car on tracks I miss their v8 m3. Audi is the more realistic car to drive everyday with that awesome V8, that extra weight means extra comfort. love cruising in the city and highway on a v8. drifting is a plus but not necessary, tracks are fun twice a year. I'll go with the RS5.

Was to be expected that the latest M3(4, whatever) will beat the old (now) RS5. It's also to be expected that the new RS5 (with a twin turbo V6) will beat by a margin the M4. Than the journalists will say that the BM is a better car to drive (because you can drift) while the RS5 has the upper hand in the wet. So boring, really...

I have an Audi RS5, though I always wanted a M4 before I purchased that car. To be honest, RS5 could satisfy your expectancy in both performance and daily commute, if you aren't a hardcore driver just like me. I pretty much enjoyed this Audi.

The m4 is simply put, more fun to drive. Its faster, it handles better and i have never driven a car that drifts with such precision. You can really push it without completely spinning it out, i tried the same shit in a mustang gt and almost destroyed the car cus i expected it to handle like the m4. Long story short, i got back in the m4 and was so glad i did. The audi does burst out of those corners nicely though, you can really get on the throttle pretty early but the fact that its so loaded with understeer takes the fun out of driving it in anything but a straight line... which is great cus its a fast car but the m4 is even faster in the straight line. So why would i choose the audi? Oversteer is way more fun than understeer. It really gives a car personality. Drive both, make your judgement, i know ive made mine. Brb im going to the garage to go hug my m4 once again.

Actually, the rival of this rs5 is the e92 m3 competition. Since the m4 is a newer generation car, it has an advantage in many performance criteria, but it is still a good comparison video. Also, when the f82 came out, I bought one brand new (silverstone metallic). I used it for about 4 years and had good memories with the car. Maybe it wasn't the best M car of all time, but it was a very enjoyable car with its design, performance, technology and ease of use. This video reminded me of the old days.

Both are great cars, I would take the M4 because I like the M cars. but then again, Supra is my dream car, so Turbo, 3 litre straight sixes, turbos and RWD.. Everything that Audi lacks.

+NickoSupra Why would you ever want a turbo when you can have large displacement and throttle response? I have a 2.5 N/a alfa and a 2.5 Turbo Subaru and the engine in the Alfa is just so much more enjoyable to drive. I love the Subaru and it is faster than the Alfa but turbos definitely dont add to the fun. Id take an N/A car over a Turbo anyday if the power is comparable.

I MAY be able to live with a turbo M-car, but i'd never accept that HORRIBLE in-car noise. i can't even imagine who made them buy that idea. For me the Audi is the car. It looks better to me, it certainly sounds a hell of a lot better, and - in real world use - the four wheel drive must be a huge bonus. ..i can't believe i lived to see a day where a BMW M-car sounds like a computergame inside. So much fail.....

That is.. i could be powereful. Sadly the majority of customers out there ARE sheep, handing the power right back to them. Changing this would be easy, just like getting a decent political system would be easy, if only people actually cared. Sadly they don't so in the end you're right. Guess we'll have to learn to live with it. In my case: the day i'm forced to buy such a shitbox, i'll do whatever's needed to get rid of the fake sound. It's way to pathetic for me to live with :)

I love AUDI but they shouldve had the 4.0L twin turbo engine that comes in the RS 6 and RS 7 in the RS 5, hopefullly they do put it in the new one!

There is no way the Audi is going to beat the M car on a track battle especially in dry conditions. The RS5 is a good sporty all rounder and can be used in any conditions and the BMW is a car designed with track in mind. I would love to have both if them in my garage.

Audi RS5 hands down, 8,500 rpm derived from the LeMans gt3 v10. If the Audi had a carbon roof game over, BMW only wins because of weight difference; close that gap and that Audi will destroy that m4 for sure!

Don't forget the Audi has a 1.2 litre advantage in engine size. The weight becomes irrelevant since that monstrous V8 should be making the difference. The M4 only has a 3.0 litre engine and is able to top i would dare say every single car in the world that has a similar engine size. Just a thought.

elchawichem Great point Elchawichem, but weight makes all the difference between the two. The v6 has smaller displacement but things are evened out when a turbo is added. The Audi is a n/a engine with no tricks (natty) the BMW is a (half natty) turbos and let's not forget "artificial sound" major no no! Don't forget the origins of this v8 nothing g in common with the one from the past; huge potential being derived from the LeMans V10!

6 years later. NA cars are dying and it’s sad because they sound better than turbocharged cars IMO. Love both cars tho. Im buying the rs5 as my daily driver. Sticking an exhaust on it tuning it and adding a better suspension set up. Reason I chose the rs5 is because of that Na engine and the subtleness of it. Bmw as a daily is just to out there for me personally. I’m a car enthusiast not a bmw fanboy or Audi fanboy. I will buy whatever car I like that fits in my price range and that fits best to my needs.

I couldn't agree with you any more. If you ask me, I'd rather take the Quattro system than the RWD because you are more likely to floor it on the road rather than drift it's corners. I think Audi has always made better cars than BMW and that'll never change.

They like the car because it looses control easier.. that's stupid. buying a car because you can drift it easier is the dumbest reason to even buy one. The audi is clearly better in my opinion. If they wanted to drift it they could have easily put all the horsepower in the rear, it's not that hard to figure out. They have to really push the limits with the BMW to keep up(which is dumb)

Did you miss the end of the video when he says he will be testing them for road use next time? BMW is clearly MUCH MUCH better car for track use. I dont know how much you are in to racing,.. but 2.3 seconds on such a short track is massive difference. Even half a second on such track is really a lot..but 2.3?? This is like one car is in garage.. And if you know that both of these cars have simillar power output, which chassis is more effective, and which chassis gives you better control over the car? It would be great if you think, before you write something. BMW does not loose control easy, he drives it with all electronics disabled, and by drifting it, it shows you how much control you have over the car..But this is probably all to much for you.. And for all those talking how audi is better on the road, safer etc.. Buying 400+ bhp car for road use? Why?? Considering all this, BMW - faster on track by miles, more fun to drive..makes sense, audi - more than 400hp, clearly aiming to be fast, but 2.3 seconds slower than competitor, and boring to drive.. makes no sense. If you want safe road car, which goes from A to B, you dont need any of these two. As this is very closed track with lots of low speed corners, from which AWD bennefits over RWD, I can only imagine how big the gap would be on a normal racing track..

Simon Slana I dont buy that. Put the two cars at a line and punch the accelerator and the audi will clearly smoke the bmw. Simple as that. Did you not see my last sentence before? They push the hell out of that car to get that time (my whole point really)! The audi doesn't even break a sweat during that run. They are clearly pushing the bmw past it's limits of safety. I see a lot of idiots crashing their bmw's on the road also, so tell that to them. And ya its kinda funny how Bmw is just now getting into awd game, and they suck ha. You're dumb if you buy a bmw for a track car. Cant even tune the dam thing. Would way rather buy a nissan or something else for the money in that respect if i'm just going to end up drifting it out of control trying to push its' limits!

Faster in straight line? As first.. this really isnt so important, if you know that car is 2.3seconfs faster on approx. 1.5km track. This would bring up arround 4-5 seconds on normal 4km racing track. And than, BMW is FASTER even in straight line, 0-100 kph BMW 4.0, audi 4.2. Simple as that. Both cars were pushed to the limits, this is the point of getting on track and driving a hot lap. You go to race track and say well..I could do better lap time, but I was driving safer? Sounds retarded. Sure with nose heavy FWD audi looks less dramatic, while BMW is tail happy so it looks it is pushed harder(by your terms). Note that audi sistem of AWD is bassicaly FWD, back wheels only kick in when urgent. FWD with weight distribution to the front will cause car to be understeerd. It is a well known fact that all audis suffer from understeer. Note how far to the front BMW pushes front axle - this is to achieve better R:F distribution, on BMW M4 this is approx 51.8 : 48.2 % , while audi RS5 has 41:59 - which is dissaster. Even BMW with 52:48 isnt perferct, arround 55 to the back and 45 to the front is very good, but it is extremly hard to achieve that with engine in the front. This is why hardcore sportcars use engine mounted in the middle of chassis.I dont know why are you so in to audi, if it looks better to you - OK, if you need more space in back seats - OK, if you need bigger trunk - OK, but when talking about performance of these two, BMW is winner, and not for few precents, it is winner by milles.. Better weight distribution, lower CG, smaller overall weight..even on paper everything is cristal clear, and it also gets confirmed in reality. So, if you want performance car, BMW is the one to choose. If something else is more important to you, maybe audi. But why choose 400+ horse power car and not care about performance..

nope, a newer 40:60 ratio in the generatio VI with up to 85% of torque being delivered to the rear(and no more than 75% to front when needed) in the "crown gear differential" is not mostly front wheel drive buddy. The axle distribution in a Bmw is due to its RWD only application. Considering the Awd in audi, its a pretty dam good ratio, one that Bmw will have trouble trying to achieve when they try making their M series AWD(which they are attempting) Yes, audi is a better everyday luxury car(faster on a line, safer, and more reliable). If you pulled up to a light in your Bm and i was in the audi, I would smoke you off the line. That's what i like. If you want to drift a car go buy a nissan skyline. And like i said, when audi goes into competition it cleans house over bmw. If audi wanted to make a RWD only marketed car i'm sure it would give bmw a run for its money considering it already does with AWD. Bmws AWD already blows when compared to audi. If you ask me you should compare both with AWD to see who's doing better in the market-this is where the future is in cars..RWD is getting outdated.

Now that's not a fair comparison - a base RS5 against a fully loaded M4 with ceramic brakes.... Even so, considering it's an old car it did pretty well - imagine trying to push on along a public road in the M4 - it'd be all over the place. They didn't even pick a decent colour or nice wheels on the Audi! I've got a fully loaded RS4 and it's amazing with the sports dif. Wiped the floor with a C63 a few days ago too! 👍

Coolin , it would be really emberassing if bmw losts against 6 years old car.You have to realize that M4 is absolutly new car so wait to 2016 audi rs5 and we will see who is going to win. And if you look at race battle between RS5 and old M3 you can see that audi clearly wins even against C63

Colin Cas It is an interesting point that almost exclusively fast BMW's are tested against what is perceived as their direct competitors on the track. This is to accentuate the rear wheel drift that is undeniably a predominant characteristic, particularly so in the powerful M cars. This of course is relatively safe and some would say "good Fun" on a closed track but in the real world and all around driving conditions, I would argue that the propensity to "Tail Out" is very undesirable. My point is that a fast M would struggle to stay with its equal and opposite RS point to point across countries. Even the brand new and impressive M4 would struggle against the undeniably long in the tooth RS5 in a real world race. I watched a Nissan GTR one of the fastest most agile and technically capable cars available today and easily capable of bettering any M Car on or off the track, being unable to shake off an RS6 Avant in a real world varied road conditions test. It was also noticeable that the RS6 driver seemed to understand that driving a fast 4 wheel drive car requires a different discipline to what is required in a fast rear wheel drive. Using late braking, balancing the car on throttle mid corner and then using the Quattro and the V8TFSI to sling shot early out of the corner. You cannot set up the BMW in that way and getting on the power early in normal road conditions would inevitably induce either a lurid tail drift or the electronics would interfere and kill the power and the so called fun with it but somehow I think the average Joe would rather get his beloved Beemer home in one piece than have it drift into the nearest ditch or worse into he oncoming articulated 40 tonner, which of course would never appear on a track.

Mr 305 Perhaps the Audi is "a better overall car". I think pro track drivers are going to be more focused on how the car drives on the track rather than the overall package itself. For road use at sane and legal speeds I don't think you would be disappointed with either vehicle.

Does this guy work for BMW or Auto Express?? Massively in favour of the M4, seemingly because it would be a better track day car. Which, of course is what we all do all day. Not just use it as a car, in the rain, wind and occasional snow. Which the M4 will be hopeless in. Poor review!

i am not fan of any cars, i love bmw more , but this is the truth: quattro is more powerful and succesfull than xdrive guys, bmw has fastest city cars this is the truth. but in real race, there is no differents at cars about horse powers. Because of these in real race audi is more succesfull i think because quattro is better. And trust me guys, i am not fan audi and bmw. But i like more bmw. (Sorry for bad english)
