I have a 2003 CL600. They put twin turbos on it that year. 500HP and 600ft torque. Amazing car. The abc suspension is amazing. Just be ready for some bills

@Project ONE It was tongue-in-cheek as I was stating that (stereo)typically, a man would have to _try_ to persuade their wife to allow them to buy a gas-guzzling performance car when Mary-Ann is as much of a petrol head as anyone.

The display was probably replaced with a new one. Very easy. Did the same on my W220.

My concern is if I bought this what is the 80,000 maintenance interval, and what needs to be done? I am not sure?

If the ABC hydraulic suspension system needs service... that will cost a pretty penny. Unless you want to swap it to coil overs, which is a much cheaper fix, but your suspension will no longer be actively leveling. When my ABC suspension busted on my CL500, I just swapped in coil overs and my tandem pump was still good, so I just re-routed the ABC side of the pump in a low pressure loop.

@@NewYorkBattleCat I wouldn’t recommend it, as it would have no dampening if there’s no pressure on the hydraulic system(or locked pressure). It would be literally riding on the springs and it be bouncy and you could potentially bottom out too.

At 85k to 90k the oil intercooler will fail. It is located under the heads. This is 5 day 8 hour job expect to pay 10-12k to fix. Design flaw new intercooler will not fail . You can not just put a gasket back the old oil intercooler. Car has an electrical draw and often needs a trickle charger to prevent car from being dead the next day. Also tandem pump for ABC will need to be replaced expect to pay 5 k as the lines go around the engine. Good time to replace all four ABC shocks or convert to coils.

The v12 is just not worth it for just 60PS more. The Facelift V12 Turbo is a different thing.

Why buy a V8 ? Uuhh , less moving parts , equal horsepower and torque . Cheaper maintenance .
