His lectures and videos have been so helpful for ppl like me with CTD-ILD (NSIP), because so much is focused on IPF vs CTD-ILD.

I have psoriatic arthritis and I had to to the emergency room the other day because of breathing difficulties. One of the doctors pointed out and said " arteritis doesn't effect the lungs, and a rheumatologist wouldn't know how to treat this condition " and it shows the ignorance and lack of knowledge that some doctors exhibit. My rheumatologist will be able to sort it all out, I'm sure of it.

Hey Joe did you ever figure this out with your rheumatologist? I too have psoriasis and arthritis and have had increasingly worse shortness of breath on basically any activity over the last couple months. Only thing that works (at least partially) is Prednisone but that's a short term solution. No lung scarring on CT so it's a bit puzzling. Any advice on treatments and/or finding a doctor who knows what's going on here? Thanks.

Can u be asymptomatic and suffer a pulmonary embolism and in turn that triggers an underlying autoimmune immune response
