AUTOLAND FAILS IN SEVERE WEATHER - Manual takeover

2 жыл бұрынI haven't flown in a while, so I decided to do a CATIII App RWY30R into OBBI wind 268/58G65. Brave, I know. Not knowing why or how, the Auto-land failed at the last second and a manual landing was carried out. How did I do? Do you know the triggering conditions for the Auto-land light to flash?

Did you find why autoland light was flashing ?

The autoland light flashed due to a failure in the system preventing an autoland from being conducted, as you can also see that the FMA disappeared (the AP 1 + 2 and A/THR disappeared, indicating that the autopilot and auto thrust has failed). This was followed by the 3 warning chirps, also known as the Calvary charge.
